CART: Indianapolis

695 laps and probably getting on towards 12 hours practice over the last 10 days towards this race and I lose connection at the end of qualifying 2nd. I think I sat with my head in my hands for a good quarter of an hour after that LOL.

Had a brilliant race car. I was hitting 37.5's in the draft with Eduardo earlier today and the thing still felt like it had more to give. Shame I never got to use it. So that's two DNF's, a crap race in Montréal and a DNS at Indy. Sounds like the resumé of a novice.

Shame I've had the pace to contend for the win at every bloody race so-far. My luck has to change at some point... right?

I'm very disapointed right now... I had put a lot of effort to prepare for this race and I think I was well prepared but I got cought up in the first lap by a driver that wasn't very quick out of T4. Following two other guys, I saw him a litle late and my reaction took me to the wall. Not hard but enough to make me spin off. I took two other guys with me, to whom I did appologize already.

This track is really a test and I think I failed it...Just hope there will be a second chance!

Jon, it's a shame...We've waited for you as long as we could but we had to start at some point. I really hope your luck turn around...

Aw man, I appreciate you guys hanging around for me. I knew it wouldn't reconnect in time (had to reboot PC and router to get it to work again) 10 minutes after I disco'ed I had connection again.

Sorry you couldn't get back in, Jon. You were obviously fast here. As Sylvain said, we waited as long as we could.

I got caught in the same melee as Sylvain, no where to go, got my right front ripped off. I had a good car, could stay in the draft safely, difficult to pass though. I was just hoping to stay clean to the end.

Well at least I didn't have to drive through all the yellows I'm guessing they will have.

Well i finished... My car was bent up after lap one... every spinner, every crash, every peace of debri, i hit... I checked the replay on all of them and wasnt much I can do to avoid the wrecks I got caught up in.... so not to disapointed, had great fun and hope i didnt get in the way to much... i was running 220 on my own... I was bouncing off bouth walls all the way down the back straight during one of the yellows my car was so badly damaged hehe... good job pit crew.

Wrecked 3 races in a row. I'm out of the points. bye bye.

Congratulations Joe and podium finishers, you guys where the only lead lap cars. Thanks to Bill Peterson for drafting with me near the end, we clearly were faster together then solo and your unselfish logic almost picked me up another position.

First I would like to say thanks for all the patience w/ myself trying to get the field sorted out w/ the restarts, anybody who knows me well enough knows I am a fair person, so if I can help fix a situation I will.

Qualy, well P3 was as good as it was going to get, Ill take it.

Race, taking the green I realized I had the wrong set-up loaded, then upon further review I realized my boost was set at 9 as half the field passed me. Cont'd I stayed out of trouble for the most part, had a great run going until I over heated the right front in the second half of the race and drove it into the wall, and not being able to ESC fast enough I collected Anthony, My apology for the incident.

Ovals bring out the goofiness in people, I seen much of that today, I hope in our last oval race in our season the aggression level will be reduced by 75%, as being aggressive doesn't net you a dang thing but pissing off your fellow racers.

In closing...if you decide to run a series, you need to stick with it come thick or thin, I have seen many guys who thru hard luck not finish races, but they continue to show up, why? the format, the racers, the full field, and if racers want to quit that's is fine, your prerogative, but a quitter never wins. I will say this, Anthony James is 2-points away from P2, all thru his perseverance of not the hot lap, but finishing, and openwheel racing is about finishing.

seems as though i did not miss much, i hope baseball does not interfere with further races.
