Good race all really enjoyed that !!!

Had a really nice fight. I knew from begining that 3rd place was all i could hope for when i saw the vipers speed :)

Had very nice fights with Nuno till lap 10 or so. Lots of overtakings and saving possitions, but i think it was all inside the rules! Sometimes the blue-flag guys "helped" and made everything even more exciting! Then made a mistake and went to visit the grass to see if it was still green... and he drove away :P

There was no way for me to match CJ. Grats to him and Nuno!

So 20 attended?

On the list there were some 24 drivers and 2 on waiting list. I would have attended had I known there was room but didn't think it would matter much to be 3rd on waiting list.

Any way to improve this kind of situation?

Well, let me start out by saying that I was greatly disappointed during qualifying. Not so much by my times, as by the conduct of some participating(SP) drivers. While on my warm up lap, along with everyone else, I was trying to leave room between myself & the driver ahead, when I was passed on the inside by the car behind me. Now, this happened as everyone was coming around for their first hot lap, not when qualifying was already under way. I then watched as the driver who had passed me & the two drivers that were ahead of me, raced each other during their hot lap.
Now, on my cool down lap, headed into the pits, off the racing line, I was tapped from behind by a driver on a hot lap. Now, I was not spun or anything like that, but I could have been. I was off line & still got tapped. :(

Now my race was spent following some slower cars, as I looked for a way past, I got caught up by some faster drivers behind me & lost positions till I was about 15th. I never got into a great rythm(SP) but I did put up lap times that I had practiced at, so was fast for me. I was catching up the car in front of me, till I was about 2.5 seconds behind him, we both came upon a backmarker who had spun off. He placed himself between me & the car I had almost chased down. I spent the better part of two laps behind him, trying to get past. Now he would at times, let off suddenly in certain parts of the track & he did this going into T2, it suprised me & by the time I got on the brakes to avoid ass ending him, I tapped him & spun him. For this I am sorry. (I will have to watch the replay to see who I spun) But, by the time I got past him, the car that I had chased down, to get within 2.5 seconds of was 12.xx seconds ahead now. I was just a little upset by this, but hey it was a fun run, not life or death, but still I know blue flags had to be showing in his cockpit. So, from here I just tried to keep it on the tarmac, stay out of the way of the leaders & finish the race.
I'm not mad about my performance, as my fast lap was around the same time as my fastest lap I practiced at, so I did run my pace from practice. But, I was pretty pissed by some of the silly actions of some of the participants.

busy in q ,had to come in and go out again to get a clean lap,so was happy enough to q 5th,looked like a good start till the car in front span across me and then swerved again,i managed to move around but the car behind me tagged him and i was bumped into the gravel,leaving me dead last,no damage so i had a good run for places,have to say some of the driving was poor going through the field,i know it was for position , but blocking and brake checks?not cool,nw cj .

I hear ya Bill (about qual), and that driver could very well have been me. I had issues in qual, getting slammed into on the first out lap, and as soon as someone fucks me intentionally, the gloves come off for the rest of the event. I don't like to be that way, but I'll be damned if I let my day get ruined by someone who doesn't have the patience to race here.

I just think its funny how everyone rushes out of the pits at the beginning of qual like a pack of wild dogs. ;) I waited about 1 minute, drove out to a nice clean track for qual.

Had a great fight for many laps with Grecian, but I underestimated his braking point going into the last righty before the chicane. Sorry bud, we had a great battle going on there. Very fun.

Rest of race was okay. Except I just want to say, guys, if you're being lapped, hold your line. Don't panic, just drive your line, THEN, when you hit a nice straight, LIFT OFF and let the lapper by. Easy. Don't start racing the guys lapping you. That is not so nice etiquette ... If I come out of the last chicane, pull out to the side, with my headlights flashing, and the blue flag waving, don't race me into turn 1. :)

I understand ya Bob. No worries, seems that there are some who are a wee bit impatient. They need to understand that we all need to give each other room & then we can run a good clean lap. Sorry, to hear that happened to you, I wouldn't expect that would happen in a fun run or a league for that matter.

It takes a quite a bit to find some clean track (20+ cars) to qualify in, within the 10 minutes you get to make the run and get a time in, so I go out a soon as possible to get as many laps in as I can. So I can see why we all get all bunched up, everyones doing the same thing. Just need a little more patience, just a little, not alot.
