Sorry for the bump Charles it seemed you braked alot earlier than you had been and it caught me by surprise. I have a belly full of vicodin from a knee surgery I had on Wednesday so I could be wrong also.

My driving is a great result of downloading a setup running about 20 laps of practice and hitting the track. I turned more laps today in this sim than I have in months. I havent even seen the Texas track yet lol. Then my computer decides to freeze. I dont know what causes it but it only happens in Arca and rFactor so I am not going to put alot of time into practice if that is going to happen but I have a good place to download setups so I should be good to go lol.

I publicly and unreservedly apologize to Jack Ulmer and David Fridley for turning them. The incidents happened because I misjudged speeds and simply screwed up. I hope you both accept my regrets.

Well, I think we can all agree that this was a very rough showing of what can happen on short tracks. Not that The Mike would know in that he pretty much took his ball and checked out. To the extent that my screw-ups set a tone for the race, I apologize to the field but dayum there was some hard ass racing going on.

Never really had a handle on this track. Gave Nick my setup and he turned a better lap than I ever have with it.

During the race, I kept thinking "Geez, doesn't he see I'm inside here?", but looking back at the replay, what looked like a whole lane's worth of room from the windshield, looked to the driver ahead like you where pushing in where there was no room at all. I squeezed Jeremy Denzer exactly like I felt others where doing to me.

So in all, sorry for pushing in on those I pushed, and sorry for crowding you Jeremy.

Couldn't believe I found myself in 3rd near the end of the race. Might have been my massive damage, but my car was turning into the corner really well, so at the end I found myself having to brake really hard not to get into Charles, and Joe was right there on my bumper. Thought I had my nose in clear (see disclaimer above) and got myself pinned to Charles' left-rear Q-panel and almost spun him. Very next corner, I got right into his bumper (not intentional), moved him up, and Joe was there to capitalize. Must have been on the edge already, as a touch from Joe sent me around, and back to 9th.

Sorry Charles; I imagine you must have felt rather abused by the end of the final run.

Sorry guys - just woken up guys - 4 hours after I set my alarm to get some praccy in at 2.30am! These 3.40 am starts are giving me trouble.

No problem, David. It was just hard racing. I did think there was some extremely aggressive driving going on early in the race, but last few laps, anything (clean) goes. I knew my slow-in approach was putting me at risk at times, but that's what my setup required to get the laptimes and save the tires. Although saving tires was pretty useless today, wasn't it? :) The number of cautions was disappointing after the great long runs in the shootouts. Just the way it goes sometimes, I guess.

Congrats to Mike and Joe on the podium finishes. And David and Jeremy, no problem, it's racing. And Bob, sorry for our bump. It's like I've been saying: If we do much of this stock car racing, we're all going to meet up on track sooner or later. Not much value in getting mad or holding a grudge against anybody, nor in kicking yourself when you mess up.

Yeah, there was a ton of yellows, but WTF man! The racing was absolutely fierce today! Every single driver had a chance to win today, and every single driver ran like their life depended on it. Great shit! Fkin Larry, how does he do it??? His car was twisted up like a fkin pretzel, and he still does well. Grats to Mike on the win. LET'S DO IT AGAIN.

Yep thanks for that Dave, had run some practice laps but nothing like the times until I got that one, nice one team mate!

Certainly was intense, close racing with lots of action, glad to have been so competitive after missing so many races.

I got lucky for sure. My car would run real good for ten laps or so and then the tires would give up on me. That last caution enabled me to make up about five positions. Sorry to Michael Virt for running into the back of you under yellow. I looked at my other monitor for two seconds and turned back and there you were. Hope I didn`t damage you too much. As usual, I had alot of fun out there. Congrats to all the podium finishers.

Glad everyone agreed to extend the race from a mere 150 laps to 250. With the quality of drivers I thought for sure that we would of completed the laps. Cautions are part of racing. It changes strategies. You not only have to concentrate on driving but also think on what to do and when. It's a thinking man's game. And that is something you cannot practice. But thru practicing I pretty much knew what the car and tires were going to do on long runs. Thats why I didnt pit for so long towards the end. I think I last pitted on lap 143? Even thou I was slower than the guys with fresh tires, as the saying goes "catching me is one thing, passing me is another!"
