Disconnected while in 4th...

Had a nice comfortable little car which I was quite confident could contend for a podium. Was running well when we were at racing speeds, but there were far, far too many bloody cautions.

Annoyingly there are also STILL people who will insist on going mad on the restarts and in the early going. One driver, who will remain nameless, tried to take two of us before we'd even reached the line. YOU CANNOT OVERTAKE BEFORE THE LINE, SO STOP BEING IN SUCH A BLOODY RUSH.

Didn't miss much. Some of the worse driving I've ever seen here.

Very sorry, Anthony. You slowed-up so much in turn 3 it caught me by surprise. As HRH says, there's no excuse for punting somebody. Entirely my fault. Very sorry if that's what caused your DNF.

Got through the cautions without too bad of damage. My car just didnt run right after i spun and clipped the wall with my back end. I'm happy, I stayed out of the wreckage and got my first finish on one of the hardest tracks in the game. Now its time to get ready for Daytona.

My painful Season 12 continues! Qualified 10th until Larry disco again on the warm up lap meant effectively 9th.

Ran well at first, moving up to P7 and having a nice tussle with Chris Melton, but I got caught out a few times with slower cars into T1 and a few times had to actually brake hard (rather than back off the accelerator) to avoid rear ending someone. To avoid Chris in one such situation led me to skimming the outside wall and losing several places. A caution a lap or so later meant I pitted for a splash of fuel and to fix light damage. On the restart I was down in 16th I think. And then I simply got embroiled in a few incidents at the back of the field, leading to several instances of damage to various panels!

Having watched the replay for my screenshots, I think I know why within a few laps I self span exiting T2 - not a problem at all in pre race practice or early race. I think it was Jack or Greg Ulmer who span out backwards into the wall, I managed to avoid him by inches but in doing so moved down into Anthony Brooks (see screenshot) with my left front hitting his right rear. It punched quite a gap in the wheel arch and I think may have caused more than panel damage. It is from that point on that I seemed to get very loose in some of the turns.

Anyway, self spin 1 nearly missed all comers, but I got a tap (so very nearly a miss) which put me into the wall as well. Pitting and damage repair under caution I moved up from P16 to P14 when another caution came out. Staying out on track meant I was in P5.

At the restart the car felt good and I was actually challenging for P4. Then T2 came. Jim Barisoff went loose on exit in front of me, but that wasn't an issue - I was in third gear and flooring it as it had done for lap upon lap with no problem, when again around she went. As I went at an angle of 90 degrees to the field, the spin stopped when Pons (behind me) slowed but gave me a slight nudge. This sent me 90 degree to the track sliding fast (but slowly towards the inside of the track).

It felt like I slid for half the following straight, but as the car slowed more I backed off the brake pedal - unfortunately as the wheels started to move I moved back up the track to the outer wall. This left Greg Ulmer with nowhere to go and he hit me hard and then the wall - putting him out of the race (sorry Greg). I think it was he who shouted out on Teamspeak as it was about to happen -something along the lines of "no, don't go back up track...").

Two self spins and that's your day ended in this series. As I said above, I'm pretty sure it was some sort of suspension issue from earlier damage. At the time I thought it was from slow down when trying not to hit cars in front, and then the resultant acceleration. But that only occurred in one of my two self spins.

Watched the rest of the race and saw quite an epic battle with the top 3. Well done to all, sorry for the spins, and as Charles said - my luck must change sometime!

First, terrible to see Larry two races in a row having the same issue. We missed you, hopefully they will be resolved soon.

Pocono is one of those tracks that I find as pleasant as trying to mow the lawn with a razor blade.

Once again, I topped myself with creative strategy, finding myself running on old tires and out of fuel with about 8 minutes to go. Truth be told I was Top 10 material, specifically in the range of 10. So my tactical genius produced relatively little harm. Imagine what I would have achieved with a pencil and a post-it.

2 events this weekend (Grand Am and ARCA), and I found the fence in both. And no one to blame but my own numb-skull self.

I was cruising the last stint, running 4th and trying to conserve, but she pushed up in T2 from me having a bad entry, and I couldnt turn away in time. Pancaked the right side hard. So, I watched as Allen pulled away. Then, one by one, everyone that I was able to run away from at the beginning of the stint, started reeling me in and putting me back farther in line. It obviously killed my fuel mileage as well, since I had plenty to make it to the end before I kissed the wall. 5 mins to go, and I had to dive in for a splash. Terrible weekend for me.

Thanks Francesco, but I don`t know what the issue is to begin to resolve it. That is exactly why I don`t practice too much for any races anymore, that way I can just shrug my shoulders and move on to yard work or whatever and not be all pissed off about it. The only thing that kind of dissappointed me was I only got to hang out and talk to you guys for 1/2 an hour then I was done. This is the only series I run where I feel like I have real friends in so much as I`ve never actually met anyone in person. Most of the other series I try to run it feels like it wouldn`t matter one iota if I showed up or not but here, well you guys are awesome.
