P&G @ Mangy-Cours

First of all, my apologies to Allen. I locked up my brakes going into that corner at the end of long straight and ended up a long way into the gravel. On the way back out I was just looking for the track, not realising that the bit of kerb that I saw was actually part of the kink that every second car flies over. I turned, avoided one car, but Allen was the unlucky victim. I am very sorry for my absent mindedness.

The race before and afterward was good fun. The Mustangs are quite a handful on corner exits and the slow corners, and I slowly caught up with the next Falcon / Mustangs. Towards the end I caught Nick and had a fun battle with him over several laps, but he came out on top. I had a chance on the final straight, but had too much wheelspin and got too sideways once on the straight and lost the advantage - could have been a photo finish there.

Congratulations to the podium, and I hope to take part more regularly in this series.

Cracking one!

Things didn't go as planned in qualify being nearly a second slower than in practice so I was dissapointed.

Got a sloppy start as well losing 2 positins but got back to 4th soon. Had some epic battles with David and I think Pablo. For a few times we were milimeters away from disaster. Very very close racing! I was watching the replay and saw David overtaking me sideways in the penultimate turn! F'ing crazy dude! I got a little tap but nothing happened, my Falcon just stood still like Rambo :)

Managed to get to 3rd and was watcing Enis and Mr. Minton fight hard. For a brief moment all cars just disapperared and I thought I was done for today. Suddenly they were back again! Sorry if I caused any warpings...

Anyways I really got close to Enis and had some chances to get him. I'd really have to brake late to get him but it'd probably end in a kitty litter so I was being conservative and smart(yes Enis, that means you were slowing me down ;).

Very very exciting racing guys, really looking forward for next round!

Grats Marko and Enis. You guys seem quite familiar with these old cars :P

Disco!

What fantastic fun!!! Never have i had such a frustrating race from my lower group car with NO POWER! I played the car strategy card on this so lets hope it works out.

Lol Joco :P i actualy lost it on the brakes and decided to try and make the move work! and did it :P pity i lost it in the fast chicane the lap later :P front brakes were snatching through too much heat generated by slowing the bus down :O

I ended up behind Pablo later on after Radoslav passed him and we battled for the last few laps on worn tyres!! awesome fun and can`t wait to view the replay and take some screenies :)

Great fun and i only spun once :P for me that is probably the worst car out my selection gone now so really looking forward to the remaining races :)

Qualifying:
Wasn't able to really find rhythm in qualifying.

Race:
It was interesting and intense. Moved from 6th to 3rd quickly, then had really long battle with Dan. I finally overtook Dan and moved away from him bit by bit. Then, 6 laps before the end, my shifter fell apart, knob fell off and I had to shift using lever, was distracting to say the least. That allowed Joco to pressure me, but I kept my cool. Pleased with 2nd.

Wish I could have made this one. I really enjoy the old iron. I was on pace with Marko too. Maybe I won't have to work the next round.

had a really brilliant race, i sure love getting punted out by some loon on turn 2 of lap 1, dunno if hes been DQ yet but if he doesnt, it kinda makes a mockery of the punting rule! the joys of online racing!
