South City TT

Got an ok start and ended up third after the first few corners. At the last turn I saw an opening and went for it. There was some side by side contact with Stuart, which for some reason turned him around.

After that I tried for a few laps to keep pace with Roger, but saw that my tires wouldn't last 25 laps at that pace and I settled into a good mid 33 to low 34 pace instead. In the end, it was the right choice it seems as Rogers times slowed considerably at the end. Also, I had Kieron and Stuart behind me to keep me honest.

All in all a good race, even if it was a little lonely in the middle.

Great race, but also a bit confusing.

Didn't realise that Qualy was Qualy. Saw Tim give the 10 mins to Qualiy signal then that was it, No pre Qualiy notes or anything. End of the day I got a decent Time in but it was on race fuel and not a light load. Got 3rd in the end with Jan on an Identical time in 4th.

That didn't count for a thing though, because for some reason LFS put me in last on the grid, with I think Jan along side me. Got a bit of a rubbish start too cause the lights where red by the time I jumped in the car.

After that though the race was awesome. Had a great battle with Jan for a good few laps, and as tight as this track is we where side by side for 4 or 5 corners, really great stuff :). I managed to come out of the fight on top and then I concentrated on catching Magnus who was 9 ish seconds up the road. I also had one eye on Stuart as he charged up the field after a spin.

I knew I would be in trouble from Stuart if I caught Magnus so I planned to get past as soon as possible, but that's easier said then done :).

A couple of laps to go and I was on Magnus`s bumper, but 2 corners later and Stuart was on mine so I had to go in defensive mode. This gave Magnus some breathing room and like the fight before with Jan me and Stuart where along side each other for a good 4 corners on the last lap. There was a bit of "door rubbing" this time but nothing too bad and again I was able to come away in the better position and take 3rd.

Stunning race and I'm loving LFS at the moment, 2 races down here and they have both been great. I just need some proper 1 and a half to 2 hour races now in the GTR's :D.

Grats to Roger on the win and Magnus for 2nd, and thanks to all who showed up. :).

Enjoyed that, although it was a bit lonely after I passed Jan.

Really wanted to catch up to the fight between 2/3/4 as it looked great fun on the map (if a bit distracting hehe), but I'm still not quick enough in the TBO cars...not sure what I'm doing wrong yet but hopefully I'll get there.

Ended up practicing scandinavian flicks since I was hopelessly behind anyway. Not even that was possible. At least I managed to make the tires smoke even when going in a straight line lol
