URL: Oschersleben Mini 1

On the first lap I had contact with someone going into turn 1. I wasn`t sure if I punted whoever it was or if the contact was side to side so I kept racing but if it was a punt I will gladly accept any penalty that is deemed necessary. Also, I apologize to whoever it was that went off.I slowed and waited a few seconds hoping that whoever it was would get going and resume position in front of me but I`m not sure if they were able to do that or not. Anyway, other than that, I had alot of fun out there as usually is the case. These minis are just alot of fun to drive and you guys in URL are good competition for me for sure so thanks for the racing.

I started at back of grid and managed to get a really good start and picked my through up to 2nd by end of lap. That only left Jeff in front but I was struggling a little with the setup and Jeff was holding me off but then a few laps into the race I was getting to grips with the car so started to close in on Jeff and was looking forward to a repeat of last time and having a good battle with Jeff for position but then disaster, luckily not for me but Jeff handing me 1st. Great driving from everyone again. Grats to Podium. 1st ever win for me

Disastrous race for me. Q was a surprise of 3rd since I only ran the mini here the night before for a few laps. The setup I had was stable but the added fuel load caught me in the esses with a nasty tankslapper; into the sand & wall with a left front puncture. It took all I could to back it out of that nasty sand then all around the track to the pits. I managed to finish the race in one piece but waaaay back of everyone. After the finish, I was close to not entering the 2nd race out of disappointment but luckily I chose to take another stab at it.

Edit: On L1 T1 I think I leaned on someone's car a bit. I think it was Larry's but I'll have to check the replay tonight. Whoever it was, sorry for being a tad too aggressive.

I had a borrowed setup cause just didn't have the time to prepare for this track. Totally surprised to get the pole.

That turn 1 is a bitch. I always try to give room on the first lap first turn, and I haven't watched the replay, so I hope I didn't cause anyone damage going thru there. It was not intentional. Somehow I came out of there still in first and enjoyed a pretty good lead for a while. I knew Gary was creeping up on me but I could not push any harder. My borrowed setup was scary loose...it was fast...but I had to really concentrate on the corners.

...well I lost my concentration...Gary, did you see me banging my head on the steering wheel and crying as you drove by???

Still, it was fun!

Larry, I turned into you in turn 1 not the other way around. We were door to door so it's not a punt.

I thought the race went pretty well but I got stuck in that middle limbo again with people way in front and people way back for a while.

I apologize to Jerry for having to re-enter the track so often late in the race as my tires got worn down. Kept making dumb mistakes.
