3 Hours of Le Mans

Qualified 3rd,discoed on formation lap.

Sorry I couldn't make it, I've been having internet problems all day.

I got a new modem free from my ISP so hopefully things will be alright from now on.

Lost my qual time due to the issues so had to start from 38th ( I think it was!)

Made it up to 16th eventually, but going onto the S/F straight I span. Stuck it into reverse to turn back round and the engine blew most unexpectedly.

Real shame to finish like that but one of those things.

Well done to R2P for another cracking event to view, shame for those caught out by the bugs, but I do wish some people would have a little more patience and respect when these things are being organised.

Drew qualified us in 8th and did a stellar job getting us there. We had more pace, but left it on the track.

Lap 1 I put it in the wall outside of Indianapolis. 4 or 5 hundred laps of practice and not once did we have that happen the way it happened there. I turned and nothing. Aero was tweaked to the tune of minus 3 mph.

Got to the first pitstop and were greeted with the inability to change pit strategy on the fly. Worked fine all morning, nothing when it came time for the race.

Then after fighting our way back from 39th to 15th, the power clipped and everything in the house died. What a wonderful day, lol.

Congrats to the podiums, we're off to watch the real thing now! Unless someone wants to run another 3? We're game!

Sorry George... My game dropped from 45 FPS to 7 on straights, and 2 in the corners in the last hour... It wasn't fun, I barely survived, some got caught up in my mess and I got caught in someone else's mess as well, nothing intentional. 55 ppl is a no go even with all FX down, who knows how many were expectating... :/

Got punted about 6 times, like a pinball...Terrible race for me...

I'm ready for another 3 hours! Taking it easy worked like a charm. I took some damage from a spinning car, but the damage wasnt too bad. Problem was I forgot to turn off repairs (68 second stop) and lost 2 spots, never to recover. Grats to my teammate John Onofrey for his 6th place finish. A top 10 after 3 hours feels like a win to me after the BS at Indy. Grats Heinz and Conor!! What happened to ya Bryce?

I had to drop out before qual, my FPS where just to low with 52 cars. :{

Rofl, manic race. My engine survived (dont say sprint engines wont last 3 hours!), but front end was gone, rear end was gone, both front brakes were gone, puncture og left rear and right rear suspension collapsed. Sry to whoever got in trouble because of me, not my finest race.

That said - backmarkers were shockingly poor. Had to dodge cars not wanting to be passed instead opting to crash ahead of me in the Porsche Curves (damage), one guy comming back on track in the last chicane forcing me over the curbs and into the pillards (major damage), one guy crashing in T2 after not wanting to be passed (touched), one guy in T4 (one the same lap!) reversing back on track which I hit (major damage), one guy completely unable to control his car at 5mph in the last chicane (damage).
Not one panel on the entire car was scratch free.

Thank you to R2P for organising this event. I can´t remember when last I was so excited about something.The build up was spectacular and the event itself was awesome.

I managed my fastest time to date in quali and was really pleased with the lap.

It was my 1st race of this nature so I planned to run the event to finish. I made some errors that damaged the vehicle which became very slow over the course of the race. I was very pleased to see that my pit stops were close to a minute which allowed me time for a smoke break :-). It was great to be able to chat with the guys from Phoenix on TS, and to put voices to some of the names I know from R2P...thank you for the invite.

My graphics card died on me, again, which I will be sure to attend to this week. It made for some interesting views, but resulted in me not being able to see all the information. I had no idea when the race ended, so I drove my planned race distance just incase.

Well done to the top finishers and to all that managed to finish the race.
