rFBMW: Indianapolis #1

Yet another mod I won't be racing in the future.

Some pretty dodgy driving out there, not the cleanest of races I've been in. I was on for maybe 5th place until I spun into turn 4 from some irritating damage to my rear suspension. Dropped to 12th and that was that.

2 spins on my own in turn 1 cost me points and I only managed to improve on my grid position by 1 spot.
Some close and hectic stuff out there.

Fairly uneventful race, qualified pretty far down the field. The car was well off the pace, more so than i normally am, and circulated round and picked up the occasional place from drivers spinning off in front.

Fun event, guys.

I saw some very interesting driving out there.

Qualified half a second faster than I'd ever done in practice, and was a little intimidated when I realized who I would be going into the first corner with. As it turns out I got bumped from behind by someone, Eraldo I think, but I only lost 5 or 6 places.

The rest of the race was me avoiding some craziness, sometimes just, but I did have some great racing with Matthew, Liam and Jack. One of those guys was always around and there were a couple interesting battles down the straight. Eraldo was around too, but those encounters, with me and others were a little more... interesting. Still it was fun.

I tapped Matt early on which I would like to apologize for, but it wouldn't have mattered if it wasn't for that last lap, last corner lapse. Must have been frustrating. Good racing all the way though.

Nice to come back to the series with a win - was expecting a hard race with Tristan getting the pole and a good start so just tried to tag along behind in his draft early on, but when he spun it was just me and Zak and although he hung on in there for a few laps once i'd broken the draft just did enough to stay ahead.

Zero practice.

Sorry for getting in anyones way towards the end of the race. Trying to drag my damaged car back to the pits.

Race was ok, there was some really silly defending going on.

Came 8th, should of been 7th but lost it on the last corner on the last lap!

Simon, if in future you could go across the grass, you nearly ended mine and someone else's race trying to get by you, we both ended up loosing positions.
