Can't find the track Nick! It's not under either the rf/tracks nor Tuesday Chapter tracks??

Is it just the standard rf Brianza track we are using?

The 10 Cardinal Rules
(Translations to other languages below)

We understand that some may not have the time to read every word of our policies and procedures. So, we have compiled a list of the "10 Cardinal Rules" to get you through your first couple events here while you read up on the specifics.

1) Create a player profile using your regular name. You will not be allowed to race until your player name exactly matches your Race2Play account name.

2) If you spin or run off the track, do not merge back onto the racing surface until all traffic has passed. You are off the track, regardless of circumstance. If you spin and your car remains on track, stay put until all traffic has passed.

3) Do not attempt U-turns on the racing surface. You will cause an accident, and even if you do not you will be removed (booted) from the event.

4) Two tires must remain within the painted white lines (Marked Course) at all times. Course cutting is considered to be all 4 wheels beyond those lines, and is not allowed.

5) Do not use the ESC key unless you are retiring from the session. The real-world equivalent to the ESC key is unbuckling from your car and leaving it on track. Applies to Qualifying and Race sessions.

6) Do not text-chat during Qualifying or Race sessions for any reason. This includes calling 'Pit-in', 'Pit-out', 'Sorry' and 'Thank You'. It is a distraction to drivers on track, and will have to wait until after the session.

7) Be a good sport. Drive hard, but be a sportsman. Don't go cussing another driver for spinning you ... It was not intentional. No flaming for any reason.

8) Follow all safety rules as if you were in a real car on a real track: pit speed, all flags, lights, etc.

9) Patience. Punting another is avoidable contact and will be penalized. Punting is an automatic drive-through ... Should you not take it, you will receive a lap penalty after the event.

10) Do not alter your line or braking for a faster car behind you. Unpredictable moves have a way of ending the race for both of you. Let the faster car dictate when and where to initiate a pass, and only then you are free to assist by easing off the throttle.

Nosotros entendemos que algunos de ustedes no tienen tiempo de leer cada palabra de nuestras políticas y procedimientos. Así, que hemos recopilado una lista de las “10 Reglas Cardinales” para que puedas sobrellevar los primeros eventos en lo que lees todo lo especifico.

1) Crear un jugador usando tu nombre regular. No te será permitido correr hasta que el nombre del jugador sea igual al nombre de tu cuenta de Race2play.

2) Si te trompeas o te sales de la pista, no regreses a la superficie de carreras hasta que todo el tráfico haya pasado. Estas fuera de la pista, sin importar la circunstancia. Si te trompeas y tu auto permanece dentro de la pista, quédate inmóvil hasta que todo el tráfico haya pasado.

3) No intentes dar vuelta-en-U en la superficie de carrera. Causarás un accidente, y aun si no, serás removido (botado) del evento.

4) Dos llantas deberán permanecer dentro de las líneas blancas (Curso Marcado) en todo momento. Cortando curso es considerado cuando las 4 llantas están mas allá de estas líneas y no es permitido.

5) No usar la tecla ESC key a menos que te estés retirando de la sesión. El equivalente en la vida-real de la tecla ESC es como quitarte el cinturón de tu auto y dejarlo en las pista. Aplica a las sesiones de Calificación y de Carrera.

6) Por ninguna razón deberás chatear o mandar texto durante las sesiones de Calificación o de Carrera. Este incluye 'Pit-in', 'Pit-out', 'Sorry' and 'Thank You'. Es una distracción para los pilotos en la pista, y deberá esperarse hasta después de la sesión.

7) Se un buen deportista. Maneja fuerte, pero se buen deportista. No insultes a otro piloto por que te trompeo... No fue intencional. No se permite insultar por ninguna razón.

8) Sigue todas las reglas de seguridad como si estuvieras en un auto de verdad: velocidad de pits, todas las banderas, luces, etc..

9) Practica paciencia. Golpear por detrás a otro piloto en la primer vuelta será una orden automática de penalización y deberás pasar a pits sin parar (drive-through). Esta es tu responsabilidad ... De no tomar la penalización, se te quitara una vuelta al finalizar el evento.

10) Cuando tengas un auto más rápido detrás tuyo, no alteraras tu línea de carrera ó frenado. Movimientos imprevisibles tiene una manera de terminar la carrera de ambos. Deja que el auto mas rápido dicte cuando y donde iniciara el rebase, y solo asi serás libre de ayudar dejando de acelerar.

Sabemos que nem todos tem tempo pra ler todas regras e procedimentos então nós criamos uma lista de 10 regras essenciais de participação nas corridas para você ir se adaptando sem problemas enquanto vai lendo os detalhes das regras e condutas..

1) Crie um nome de jogador igual ao seu nome de usuário do R2P. Você só será autorizado a participar das corridas se os dados estiverem corretos.

2) Se você rodou ou saiu da pista não volte de qualquer jeito , olhe para os lados espere o trânsito passar e volte com segurança para pista.. Se você rodou e parou no meio da pista permaneça imóvel ate o transito passar.

3) Se por qualquer motivo você parou na contra-mão não de cavalo de pau no meio da pista para retornar a direção correta. Você pode causar um acidente. E mesmo se não causar sera ejetado do servidor pelo diretor de prova por direção perigosa.

4) O piloto deve obedecer o traçado demarcado pelas linhas brancas sempre mantendo o carro com no minimo duas rodas dentro do traçado demarcado.

5) Nunca aperte ESC durante as seções de classificação ou corrida. Na vida real o equivalente ao ESC seria abandonar o carro e retornar aos pits andando. Se apertar o ESC não poderá retornar a pista.

6) Chat durante a Classificação e Corrida é extremamente proibido. Inclusive quick chat.

7) Seja um bos esportista dirija com garra mas não esqueça do fair play. Se for vítima de um acidente de corrida não fique chateado com seu adversário, foi sem intenção.

8) Obedeça todas as regras de luzes, bandeiras paradas de box, levando ao máximo a simulação.

9) Seja paciente. Se você der um tótó(bater) no carro da frente e o piloto rodar ou sair da pista você é obrigado a pagar um drive through. Se você não pagar a punição uma volta será adicionada ao seu resultado final.

10) Retardatário sendo ultrapassado nunca freie ou mude bruscamente de linha, deixe o carro que vem atrás iniciar o movimento de ultrapassagem e facilite a manobra se o convir

Hoping for a good evening with Mosport just before these. Really in need of a good open wheel race so hope it will give me my fix :)

Good reminders Nick, I think we all need them from time to time.

It'll be interesting to see if points 2 & 3 are followed to the letter of the law as I don't think I've ever seen anyone follow that correctly in any R2P race I've driven in, unless I'm interpreting it incorrectly?

Does it mean "Go to the back of the field", which is unworkable if the current last guy is 30 secs behind the next guy in front, who has passed you as you sit still on/off track.

Or does it mean "Don't get underway again until all the cars around you have gone" Bit difficult to work this one out in GTR2 without a position indicator as in rF.

I know rules are rules, but as in RF common sense has to apply and I assume there is a middle ground here?

The meaning is "not until it is safe to do so"

If you spin in a pack of cars, then wait till they have cleared and there is nothing coming that you will interfere with, if the next car is 20 seconds behind then it is safe to get underway again.

Essentially it is saying don't merge back into oncoming traffic.

Two drivers are signed up for this race and NOT for race 2.

If you do not sign up for race 2 and drive in it, your result will not count.
