Sorry Erling i can only think you did not and that is why, it is normally the reason.

Pole position luckily was held onto for about 100m as Sam got past, then proceded to produce some of my worst driving of the year, managing to make my way down to 16th in the end. Shocking!

race 2 was significantly better than race 1. Started 17th which was five places higher than i'd finished in race one, which was a good start.

Lap one saw another venture off the track, rejoined after a 3-point turn to avoid being stuck on the curbs. From then on my only focus was not making more excursions into the scenery. As a result i made progress through the field simply by not crashing. And managed to cycle through to 12th although i show up as 11th on the results but i'm not complaining lol.

It has been a great season and congrats to all involved

I planned to do better in this race, but it was a disaster. My start was slow, but I was lucky enough to keep my position.

After a few laps I made my way around Mark Wicks and even ran in second for a while before my concentration just seemed to go. Things that came naturally to me like braking points, apexes etc... even when beside another car in the previous race suddenly became difficult with a clearish track.

I managed to drop someone Caner, but after a few mistakes and minor offs Barney caught up to me. He made a small mistake and I got by him, but I miffed the downhill part(surprise) and got stuck on a skirt for a while. I was there for some time so I was a little shocked to not be in last when I got going. There a little bit of damage and I was ok at first, but it didn't take long for me to throw myself off again. I tried limping around, but parked it shortly after.

It was really too bad because except for that hill crest I haven't felt like I could attack a track like that in a long time. Still, running up in second and dicing with the big boys was something that would have been impossible at the beginning of the season. Big hopes for the next one.

Ergh not good races for me, although i did manage to get required rank for nippon which i'm glad.

Race 1 was going well, bit of a battle with Janos Kob at the start and he was certainly determined to stay in front. After getting passed i was slowly closing on Zack here and there until 2 laps to go and coming out of the compression on the left right, went into the right hander and run wide, hit the kerb and it speared me back across the track and into the wall. Managed to crawl across the line in 10th on my final lap but then seemed to be on my own so did the most odd finish to save myself from another DNF.

Race 2 was also going well, nicely in the lead on 2nd lap and on the left hander coming out of the compression and the kerb which i was barely on just dragged me in and i failed to turn right, which damaged to front and had to pit. Came out something like 18th so finishing in 13th after another few offs was a relief.

Congrats to Zak and Barney for the wins. Barney you lucky git as you only signed up just before Qualy after persuading you!

A bit worse than Race 1. Got another good start but I think start of lap 2 I was behind Caner and Barney and they braked earlier than I thought they would so I locked up and spun trying to miss them which I managed then rolled backwards off the track without been hit. Began my recovery from about 16th place and got up to 3rd with a lap or so to go then spun after grabbing 1st gear. Caught right back up to Mike at the end of the final lap only to see Dom trying to get across the line with what looked like a damaged car. Mike was going left as we approached and Dom tried to come lft to block so I went right which must have made it confusing from your mpoint of view. I scooted past very close to the wall and nicked 3rd on the line but what a great finish.

I was way of the pace when I joined had a horrible time in qually trying to get used to the fuel load rather than put in hot laps but quickly got into the low 20's in the race and even managed a 1.19.891 but way of the pace of the guys at the front I gained from other peoples mishaps on a very strange track

race 2 felt better by using Sam's setup (yep should have used it in race 1 lol) I was getting quicker all the time then I saw Zak put in a mental lap 1.18.718 very nice mate I had some great battles and found my self at the front but I was lucky today so many great drivers had problems thanks all

Even worse Barney that was with a damaged front wing. Obviously very keen to catch back up.

Good championship, I might have better left for 2 beats my fault I threw out the vice championship, but being new to R2P'm very Happy

Well it just goes to show what's possible without encountering cars spinning in front of me or being punted off at nearly every race. I believe this was my best result in all my fBMW races so far and guess what? I didn't get touched by anyone!!

My car was unblemished at the finish, so a great finish to the season for me at least..LOL

Bet you've never heard that from someone finishing 33rd in a series before.
