Pc took a massive "physical memory dump" after i had done about 50 yards...Gutted. =(

Did fairly well myself early on but yet to really get to grips with these, lost it and damaged the front so was well off the pace and only took places through others falling off.

Awesome job by Samet/Caner for Access Racing, well done to Tristan again.

Pretty awfull race in the end for me.

Messed up the line through Eau Rouge on the first lap and understeerd on to the grass a little. That slowed me down and I got a bit of a tap in he rear giving me some rear damage. Still trying to get up to speed and Dominik was able to get along side. I then pulled a huge bonehead move and tried to outbrake him on cold tyres. Tried to keep the car on the inside line but I ran slightly wide and we touched, giving me left side damage now. Sorry Dominik.

So yeah, my heart wasn't really in it after that and I was lapping a good second slower than I was in practice. Found out 6th gear wasn't long enough neither as I was on the limiter as soon as I got a tow which made over taking pretty much impossable.

Late on and Dominik was closing and I knew for a fact he'd get by which he did. Took me a bit by surprise on the brakes but I guess it was pay back for the first lap :).

So yeah, pretty pissed off with myself after that if I'm honest. One to forget I think.

Seems I had all my back luck in one day.

Firstly I crashed in quali. Gutted as I could of been 8th or 9th.

Then off the start I had to spin in avoidance as the people around me didn't use the launch control. USE YOUR LAUNCH CONTROL AT THE START GODDAMMIT, ITS THERE FOR A BLOODY REASON.

And then to sum it up, I had made it up to 12th and then I get disco'd.

Really gutted with myself. Got a shit start due to lag from other cars and lost a few places. Got stuck behind them and lost terminal time to Tristan. Finally got by Dino and Steve which was very hard due to the lag. Went balls out to catch tristan which didnt work really. Gained time when the laps were clean and then lost it again with scruffy laps. Then had 2 seperate slow-spins which cost me a lot of time, including loosing 2nd on the last lap.
What a piss poor performance, but grats to Tristan, untouchable as always.

Edit: How come the server was so unstable tonight? A lot of people got discoed because of it and racing close was impossible.

Jan, while I did not see cars warp, I did have all cars on track disappear and reappear a few times in the first half of the race.

Q:
A 1:57 was possible with the planets aligned, but a 58.3 was good enough to beat Samet and Jan to pole.

R:
I did not use LC and instead slipped the clutch at the start. If you guys want to make LC mandatory, no problem, but I'd like to remind everyone that not using LC can often yield a slightly better start.

As I had the inside line into La Source, I was unchallenged, and had a clear exit ahead of everyone else. I pushed hard on cold tires and grew a quick buffer to 2nd in the opening laps.

Both Jan and Samet had turns pursuing me, and they were putting in some blazing times. I drove as well as I could while still conserving on boosts 3 and 5, and managed a mistake-free race. My first of those in a long, long while.

So, very pleased with the result. Very fun to drive these here!! What a great feeling you get after nailing fast lap after fast lap...

The whole launch control thing meant my race ended by turn 1. I used it off the start the car in front didn't causing me to break suddenly to avoid going over the back of them. The car following me smacked me from behind damaging my rear wing causing aero damage which in turn threw me off the road accelerating out of turn 1.
This is definately my last outing in these cars as even if I had got round turn 1 my pace was so bad it would have been a long lonely race. I just can't get to grips with the car as even tho I have a decent setup & push like crazy I am slow. I have no idea how I can be losing so much time driving so on the ragged edge.

Launch control is optional, not mandatory, and people should ensure they can get away cleanly.

It is everyone's job to make sure the starts are clean and piling into someone because they are wheel spinning is not an option (not that I am saying that has happened of course!)

That was a very tiring race for me.Besides, it was the best one i did in R2P so far.

I started 3rd place and used the advantage of being inside in first turn. After that i tried to catch Tristan but it was hard and i made a mistake when i'm pushing. Falled to 5th place and after that i made another mistake. :D. I was 7th when my serial-mistakes are over. Then started pushing to grab a podium position. Caner was in front of me and he was fighting with Dominic. I catched them and i was looking for an opportunity to pass. Caner passed Dominic just before me. I passed Dominic, and then Caner. Steve was in front of me now. I catched him and passed after 2 laps.And.... One more mistake. Caner and Steve passed me and i was 5th. Caner passed Steve and he was getting away from us. I needed to pass Steve as quick as i can. I was driving like a crazy. I could hit the wall any time. But i managed it and catch Caner after that. I passed him after a risky attack and i was ok with my 3rd position.Then we started to driving in last 2 laps and i saw that Jan made a mistake. I started to push again as i do all the race. Catched him and passed after a great challenge between me and him. Got my first 2nd place race result.
