SRF: Zandvoort

Fun race! Difficult though. The four guys ahead of me were a fair bit quicker than I was. Zak had to serve a drive through but caught me right at the end. Top 5 is a good result and another great race for Pinnacle/Evolution.

Messed up qualy a little so started 14th. Did nothing other than stay out of trouble and by the halfway point i was 7th. Lot of spins an crashes in front of me. Pitted about halfway too which didn't work out great as i came out in a lot of traffic. Had a great scrap with Johnstone for a few laps. He was quicker than me but the tow in these cars is huge and he dragged me along. Managed to get a run into turn 1 but i went in a little to hot and lost the place on the exit. Chiva caught me at the end and passed easily, he was a lot faster. 8th place, happy with my own performance as i don't think i made a single major error. And a top 10 result is decent.

De ja vu for me. Once again got a great start and made up a few places only to end up at the back of the field in the first turn because some plonker ploughed into the back of me and spun me off the road.

Got back on and into a rythum and managed to catch up with a group of 4 racing ahead of me. Waited for the pit straight and made sure I had good exit speed and got a run on the car in front. He wandered across the road a couple of times but I can't claim blocking.

I was along side as we approached the braking zone for T1 and they moved across sharply and hit me. I was so busy cursing the *********** I missed my braking point and headed straight on into the gravel.

I couldn't bothered to do any more chasing so bailed out and went on to iRacing.com for a fair and trouble free race.

i had been on waiting on 31. place 'til 30 mins before race, and now see only 20. participate. unregister if you dont race to other can,its not fair

@Mike, Please PM with details of what happened and we will sort it out. We don't want any unfair racing here and Linton-Hatchell UKSR and your information will help us enforce this.

First off just want to say I had great racing again with Danny and I was sorry to see you miss out on a point by just 0.1s!

Well my race was one of missed opportunity, I could have wound up 6th if I'd been clear of trouble, but I certainly wasn't lol.

Had an early battle with Salvador that developed into a fighting group, including Danny & Domhnall and headed by Simon (later joined by Liam after his spin). We were going for it hammer & tongs. Gradually the group winnoed down to Simon, myself and Liam, all very tight together, and it ended in the gravel for us all. At the far fast right corner Simon started braking a good 20m for the corner before myself and Liam and the result was I slammed on the brakes and skidded into him, he started to spin and Liam rode up my back as the concertina effect took place and he had nowhere to go. I really dont know if a DT is what I deserved for that (as it wasnt a real punt but a concertina as 3 cars ran up into each other when the leading one braked much earlier then he had the previous laps). Anyway took the DT and came out behind Jens in 14th, with my pitstop still to do =( Fought past Jens and James and then had myself a battle with Chiva who had emerged from the pits. I had a little spin later and then took my pitstop which dropped me to 13th again. Managed to catch Pablo and pass him for a point then nipped through when Danny went around. So finished 11th despite all that happened. Some good dicing though!

Well, finally I could start a race yesterday and I really enjoy a lot. After a week plenty of problems with the mod yesterday at 20h I did my first laps in that racetrack.

Good qualy that took me to the 10th. I started well and had a nice battle for the 8th during the first 4 laps but then... I lost my concentration trying to change something in my configuration and I started a big serie of spins and crashes and finally 18th.

But I really enjoy and next week will be better...

Good race, I really enjoyed it, especially as I had only managed about 10 laps before quali, having been ill all week and not noticing the track change until raceday.

I was therefore very happy with P7 in qualifying, and so threw the car off the track on lap 1 of the race in celebration! Got too high on the curbs exiting a corner and ran off track, had to stop and wait for most of the field to go through.

Since fuel wasn't an issue here I decided to pit right away and then hope to lap clear of traffic and leapfrog people as they pitted...well I guess that idea worked out since I ended 6th!

Really good battle with Morrissey over the second half of the race, every time I thought I'd shaken him out of my tow he dragged himself back up to my bumper, I just couldn't get rid of him. With a couple of laps to go he came under pressure from Chiva and dropped back a bit, otherwise I doubt I could have held him off to the finish.

Was happy with my pace after James sent me his great setup. Managed to grab 4th in Q and I knew I could get a run down into turn 1.

Blah blah, made a pass or two and eventually grabbed the lead until I started to get some dodgy graphics glitches, and a HUGE freeze out of turn 4 which caused some problems for the other 3 guys.

That caused me to spin and lose loads of places so I tried to fight back for a podium.

Turns out my card overheated and was running at about 2fps down the back straight. I had Chiva ahead of me and he spun, and the smoke killed the card and it just stopped working and I ended up going into him, effectively ending my race.

Unlucky Liam :-(I knew we could of given the leaders something to think about ;-)

Does that mean a new card, or is there still life :-D?
