Very chuffed with second, I think it puts me top of the pops ... hoowee! Let's see how long that lasts.

Mmmm, I think there was a jump start, but driver served his penalty. Either that or he had to pit since he was all over the road. Soft tyres maybe? I had a slightly better start than David and squeezed him out a little in T1. An isty-bitsy amount of paint may or may not have been swopped.

Although later a larger amount of paint was definitely swopped by David and I in an unfortunate tangle. Sorry again Dave! It was unfortunate since it wasn't really anyone's fault, methinks anyway.

Then after that it was just a case of swopping places with Dave, and watching Joco run away at the front. Those chicanes killed me, and Joco was flying through them. Good stuff!

Well I managed a good start and Joao looked competitive in the beginning but soon descended back. Xavier disconnected also.

After that it was a walk in the park...

It's too bad so few showned up :( Let's hope there's more interest for Street Valencia.

Had a decent battle early on but slowly slipped away from the top 3-4, getting more used to these cars all the time.

Certainly a shame about the turnout given the hard work Dave has put into getting this sorted, hopefully we will see more for the rest of the season.

Jumped on the server an hour before the event as i had no praccy and not driven since Monaco and had to see to the kids :P then Mr Gorenc was the only guy on with a 1m51xxx and i almost wanted to leave there and then :P my first timed lap was 1m55xxx and thought - how the hell can i even get to within 2s of him! but i stuck at it with default setup and lowered wing to 4 and i somehow got to within 0.5 of him in qualy! that for me is as good as a win :P so with that out the way i was pumping with adrenaline and fluffed the start (possibly my worst ever) and dropped 2 positions on the lead up to Copse, after it settled i was mainly racing with Boyd which was enjoyable for most part but i was too rusty and made 2 mistakes and didn't really have the ability to give him a proper race and so he took 2nd :)

Joco's only challenge was not to fall asleep.

My whole body is aching, and with the poor turnout it was hard to get excited, but our team is leading the teams championship by a strong finish by Mark and i lay 3rd in the drivers standings even after a disco on round 1 so i suppose it was worth some of the pain :P

I may just practice from now until the next race and i may even find another 0.1 to Joco and keep him honest :P

Here's hoping for a better turnout....

Mr Brown, you was only 2 tenths away from real-life pole lap so good job. You do need to work on consistency however :P

I joined knowing I had to leave after 10 minutes of race, so decided to start at the back and try to have some fun. Then had to go lol

Made an average start and Xavi was soon past, then I just tried to keep the group infront close enough to remain visible. And as they had a few spins and I had mine it meant we all remained fairly close. Was able to chase Nick down in the 2nd half and getup behind him. Had one look around the outside of him into Stowe but backed out of it (when I got a nose just infront my game gave me blue flag warnings for some reason), a few laps later Nick had another little spin which gifted me 4th (with a larger field I know I wouldnt be finishing this high but hey, you turn up and takes what you can :)). I found myself just lapping in this race trying to beat my best lap each time to occupy myself lol, I really wanted a 1m52 and my best splits would have given it me but overall I couldnt manage one. Wish I had DB's ability to turn up and practice just an hour before and get within 0.5 of Joco, I couldnt do that with a month of practice haha.

I saw someone posted in the pre-race that the Brasil GT3 mod interferes with this one. I have that one, is that the likely cause of my problem before?

I don't think it can be the WGT3 mod David. I also have the Brasil GT3 mod loaded and I seem to be OK.
It's odd that people have hassles with this mod, although I do agree it is a bit of a hassle to get the mod and patches and fixes loaded in the right order.
Getting like rFactor with all the this that and the other ... :)
