1.5 Hours of Canada

Boy that setup was off 3 laps and it would go crazy 1turn it would be loose the next it would push ? Oh well it was fun trying to stay out of the way.

Fun race for me. I was babying my tires as the Volvo really likes to destroy them. I managed to complete the race with only one stop. My fuel strategy was perfect with my light coming on at the beginning of the final lap. The DP drivers did a fantastic job passing me cleanly every time. Well done to everyone for what looked like a very clean race from my cockpit.

Grabbed the NAGT pole but the car was complete crap in the first handful of laps. I let Eduardo by on the backstraight just so I wouldn't be hounded by him while my tire pressures built up. Eventually, they did and the car felt much better, but I still had Eduardo in front of me and he's not at all easy to pass, especially here. I made a few attempts to get around him, specifically in the hairpin, and while some of those attempts worked, they proved to be futile as he just blew by me on the straight with that brutish Viper power. This race was looking more and more like the e21 race we had a few days ago, so for the rest of the first stint, I stayed behind him and waited for a mistake.

That never came and he eventually pitted a few laps before I was scheduled to come in. I took this clean track opportunity and ran with it. I began running some of my fastest laps of the race and it really helped. When I was finished with my stop a few laps later, I had gained a 4 second lead on him. This time around, my car grew into it's quick race pace much faster than at the start and allowed me to continue pulling away from Eduardo till the end of the race.

Solid event. Some close calls with some traffic but it appears everyone ran a clean race. Thanks to Eduardo for yet another fun and close battle. Cya'll around...

I had some problems at qualy and began from last place of the Fabcars, then I was on pace for 6th and stayed there for some time. Apologies to Ernie for a punt mid-turn that made him spin in lap 22, luckily he did a nice 360º and back to race and I served my D/T without loosing any positions.

Then around lap 29th I crashed against a wall when trying to close on William (pushed the throttle while on a kerb passing a NAGT on the inside) and had to go for repair, so no chances for any better than 6th afterall.

Fun race...

Q: Someone went out full speed and had a LH moment and crashed into a big pack of cars waiting for the green light...May I remind that driver, that during official practice, qualifying & warm up it is mandatory to use the pit speed limiter. So, after the carnage in pitlane I had to esc and try out again the qualy lap but I was suffering some freezing and in my hot lap I almost crashed in the last chicane, I was already 3/10th's off of Dominiks lap, but couldn't complete that lap and had to esc, but big congratulations to Dominik for his 1st. Pole Position... Well done m8!

R: Had a great start in 2nd. position, so at the drop of the green flag I made sure I was glued to Dominik's bumper, I was not going to make the move to pass, but he overshot the braking point and I took the lead in T1 and Zak took 2nd. place...We had a clean battle for 10 about laps, unfortunately after the 3rd. lap my car started to lock the right rear tire, and this made it really difficult for me to get away from Zack, I think he had less wing as he could catch me in the straights... For those 10 laps I made my car as wide as possible without changing my lines to block him... I took the best possible line to mak it difficult for him to pass, but eventually in lap 11 he made the move and I did not force the issue and he passed me... Once he passed me he started to get away, so my focus now was Dominik, he and I traded places during the 1st. pitstop, but after the 2nd. and last pitstop I came in front of him, just about 3 seconds. Due to the different strategies made by both of us, the race was very interesting. I was on cold tires and full tank, while he was on light fuel and grippy tires. Anyways, a few laps later he catch me and we caught up with the Prado's in Lap 48, which turned out to be the decisive move for 2nd. Place... Newton Prado was being lapped by Eduardo Prado right after the hairpin after T1, so when I caught up with them I took E. Prado's line as I knew Newton would have to slow down, and Dominik who was right behind me had no choice but to take Newton's line and when Newton slow down, this created a hole in between the 4 cars, so I took the opportunity and made my way between the lapped cars and DOminik. Unfortunately Dom had contact with N. PRado and had to serve a D/T, which ended the battle for good. Nevertheless it was a great battle during the whole race, which I really enjoyed.

Congratulations to Zak & Dom for the PT Podiums & also Congratulations to Connor, Eduardo & Paul for the NAGT podiums as well... Very clean racing by all....See ya'll in the finale...

Terribly sorry i could not unregister, was practicing last night(friday) with Tim and my vid card let me, have a temporary card from my friend for now, luckily, i own a BFG 8800 which is suppose to be on warranty, so i have to send it back for repair, or replacement...

Track is a tough one for me. I qualified P3 and then slowly watched Conor and Eduardo walk away. I had some lazy spins and ended up in P5. I saved my tires and did not change them. I got back to P3 and managed the gap until the end of the race. It got pretty close at the end, but I still had a little pace left.

A bit dissapointed with myself.
I was running a descent pace and had a confortable 10 sec gap to 4th place but i had a embarasing moment overtaking Kemerer i believe. Sry Ralph thats was awful... i pay my well deserved dirve trhu and mny podium finish was gone...

Fun race for me as well. Couldn't stay with the leaders but had a great race with Nabil and Mike at the end. I had wasted my tires and was just hanging on when one extra spin let Nabil by. Then I almost gave up another position to Mike when I went for second gear at the hairpin and it went into first! I got way sideways but managed to keep it pointed so I could come back on just in front of Mike. Had he not tapped the brakes I might have taken us both out. Thanks Mike, that wasn't one of my brighter moves. The next lap Mike spun in the same place I did and recovered. Maybe he was in need of tires as well.......Lot's of fun
