GTC-Euro Dubai

Got a good start, and on lap 2 running 3rd behind Janko and Tolga I lost it out of turn 4. Crawled back to the pits, but the repairs were taking soooooooo long that I decided to quit. Didnt see the point of carrying on as I was going to be around 2 laps down. Dumb Dumb Dumb!

Lost connection (again) for me :(

Sleeping at the start and then got rear-ended in sector 2 in Lap1. Started my chase from last position and finally got 8th.

My chase was a bit interrupted, P4 thought i was fighting him with 1 lap down .... i was faster ... lol ... it was a nice battle.

Was a good and tough race, even i could have done better. It was my first real race ever in a M3 :)

that was a fun race, my first one on race 2 play. I wish i didnt have to replace my suspension on lap 35 :( all in all very fun race, for the most part it was very clean racing

apologies to holger? or whoever i rear ended at start, and then got someone in the chicane on lap 2. they just suddenly appeared in front stopped. very sorry about that.

so wityh a crunched up nose, i decided to pit on lap 3. got it fixed and got my tires and went back out, at this point 1 or 2 laps down and in last. so i kept on clicking off the laps, and by the halfway point, i was up to 14th or so (still 18 running). not too bad, considering im not a great driver and my knee's are crap on long races.

so i pit for the final time, and come out in 16th, one from the end. ouch. but i keep on making laps, and i move up 1 here, pass someone who spins there, etc. by the end up to 13th.

then, 2 laps from the end, some faster cars come along (im on 20 lap tires at this point) and one of them gets impatient and butt slams me. everything seemed ok, and im still in 13th so i go on, as i come around the next to last curve and hit the gas, i go spinning across the track a couple of time before i can catch it. seems my wing or rear susp or something took the hit.

so im trying to make the last lap and not spin out when 14th comes up and we go at it. i went wide on one turn and he moves ahead, then he looses it in the turn before the last chicane.

and i ended up 13th. not too damn bad for an old slow guy.

very fun race, the intensity level was pretty high the whole race and it was fun to have a full field. racing in traffic is a lot of fun when it's not ai.

i look forward to the east race here tonite.

At the second lap someboby was freeze in front of me and i had a spin because of that and lose some positions.
After that it was a good race.

Too bad , I didnt read the rules that 2 pitstops are mandatory :(
So instead of first place I'm on six :(

Had a very nice race :D. Qual went ok but a bitt trafficy so i couldnt get pole from Tolga. ;)

We both started OK and drove off. In a few laps i saw that i was faster then him and had to change my line and braking point quite a lot not to crash both of us out. I overtook him, but made mistake in same lap so he got back past. The 2nd time i overtook him i didnt make a mistake and drove off. Then i was just driving my own race and gaining an advantage, but not much, like 0.2 per lap... At lap 37 i was sure of win, since the one in front was surely gonna have to pit. But on lap 37 he was still in front by 14sec and i started to push like crazy to get him. I missed him by a second at the flag...but it turned out Marko did only 1 pit. Nice scare there Marko! :P

Had a great race and its good to get 1st and 2nd for the team with Tolga, with whom i had a great fight with in this race :)
