Vanport E21

Awesome race, one of my personal bests. I qual'ed 12th or 14th, I forget. I finished 9th which was a good turn out. I kept it clean the entire race and did not get ahead of myself. I had a few run-ins with slow traffic, but that is to be expected. Hopefully the whole stats thing for that race gets worked out, it was saying I finished 10th when it went all crazy. I might have made up a few spots if it were not for my overheating. I made the mistake of lowering my radiator. I had to keep it in low revs a lot to prevent explosion. Nice racing everyone.

i finished last lap (with totally damaged car until T1 in first lap) like 15., but after that statistics said 16. I dont understand why ?

F*@K!!!! AT&T Connection!!! I had a lot of fun though for the few laps I was able to race, was battling for 8th. ;)

Well, that was mediocre at best .... Qualified about where I thought I would, at least I wasn't last. Just couldn't match the pace I had in testing or practice earlier tonight. Ah well, c'est la vie.

Buggered the start, couldn't see the lights.

Into the first part of the Festivals (just can't bear to call that Turn 1, but that's another story for another time) I was trying to avoid the inevitable dogpile, and I either got tapped or put on the power too early and got sideways. And then got smacked in the 'passenger' door. The car just didn't handle the same after that, and on that same lap, I clouted the outside wall on the Slough Straight and screwed the driver's side door. So I spent the next half hour mostly just trying to stay out of people's way, racing with my fellow backmarkers and just trying to stay on the black part.

Which worked fine until the end of the race ... about the last lap, I think. I'll have to watch a replay to be sure. Anyway, I was racing with someone in front and at the same time trying not to hold up a lead lap car, when I spun coming out of the Festies, and just got plowed into by someone. As I was limping back to the pit lane, things with the server started getting weird. Then I just breathed a sigh of relief and went into my pit.

Sorry for holding anyone up, and sorry for ruining your last lap, whomever that was that hit me when I spun.

I messed up in qual and started last. Very fun and good racing. As always really enjoyed it!

I had a blast dicing with Eduardo the first few laps. He had the upper hand while leading since this track is quite difficult for overtaking. I tried passing him in some odd places on the track a few times, just trying to catch him off guard, but he held his ground and kept me back. The fun ended with 5 or so laps in when he bobbled on entry to the final corner and spun it. I took the lead from there and kept it till the end. I didn't have it so easy since I had to deal with little groups of traffic each lap which made the rest of the race challenging. A few close calls here and there, but otherwise, everyone did a great job from my viewpoint.

This race was a lot of fun, despite the huge pack and unavoidable bumping in the first few turns. I spun out heading into the back straight, and ended up dead last on the first lap, but I hit back and powered through to end up in 16th place, where I stayed for about half the race, until Newton Prado snuck past me a few laps from the end. I tried to catch him, but he got away from me. I don't mind though, catching up 10 places is a big deal for me, cause usually I end up in the back mid pack and don't pass anyone.

Cant believe I missed this event. Been so preoccupied with real life I guess I missed it in the schedule. I'll definitely be racing the rest of the events.

Something was happening with the server on the last lap of the race. I was about 20 seconds away from the finish line when all the cars in my view were flickering in and out. I think when I was going down the final stretch all I saw was ghost cars. Praying I don't hit one. After that I was watching the rest coming to the finish line I saw on the leader board massive DNF's popping on. I don't know if it was me or everyone but what ever the out come I did finish the race lol.

I was very lucky around 15 minutes into the race. Someone trying to race with a damaged car turned broadside into my line right in front of me. I wasn't going to hit the brakes. I figured he was doomed anyways and my way out was to bulldoze my way through. I got out of it with minimal damage and the car still drove sound. I lost 2 or 3 seconds a lap and I just kept on driving through out the rest of the race.

This was my best race and I a very happy. I always like this track and hope to race on it again in the near future.
