F3-A Essington GP Feature

Sorry everyone... I think I ended up taking out a few people in turn 2. The two cars in front of me touched and spun which collected me. I then got tossed into the wall which bounced me back on track sideways right in front of an angry mob! LOL

Disappointed... I was looking forward to this race. Qualified 6th which is pretty solid for me - but bad luck ruined the race.

Let's see what the Sprint brings :)

Hehe. That was an adventure! Holy carnage in turn 2 Batman. I thought I almost made it through too, but then Bruce came across my path. No worries tho mate, I could see you were a passenger too. But I still had nowhere to go, lol.....and preceded to get hit from every direction. Ended up scraping the wall backwards dammit.

I waited for everyone to go by me, (except of course those that were wrecked) but Mr Ellison decided to stop and wait? WTF? So I went. But I didn't see the other car behind him and cut that person off. Sorry bud. Think it was Yuri, but not sure.

Started driving again and toggled over to the damage chart. OMG! Lit up like a christmas tree! Red and yellow lights completely around my car. LOL. At least my Martini was still dry. And I had BOTH wings. Amazing. Decided not to pit and struggled around with a dump truck ride.

Made the right choice because in just a few laps I was back up into 5th despite being secs off my pace. Guess everyone got a little something from turn 2 huh. Being 30 secs back to 4th though, I just drove around from there.

In the end, things didn't turn out to badly. I pretty much finished where I would have if not for the wreck anyway. And I'm priveliged to have been involved in something that big. LOL.

Ther's always the sprint....

Well, i qualifyed 3rd, not too shabby. but i bogged on the start, but not nearly as bad as David M. David M. dove on the inside of me in turn 1 so i took the outside. about halfway through the corner, David M. drifted outside just as i was turning in for the second part of the turn and we touched front wheel to front wheel. I got loose but saved it without going off track. David M. spun in the middle of the turn causing havoc behind. i hate seeing this, especially when i'm in the incident that caused the mess :(.

after that, my race was pretty standard. i was running 3rd until C. Ma walled it and handed me second. Grecian was catching me though, little by little. I was fighting a car that was some what unstable in the fast turns and pushed in the tight turn, so i was burning my tires off faster too. Grecian got a great draft on me and easily going into the carosle section. My car was especially bad there so i didn't fight him too hard. I kept on hoping i would get a chance to take that position back, but it never came. Grecian kept pulling away little by little while my car became more dangerous and harder to hang onto. i finally gave up the chase and slowed down to take my 3rd place. There is always race 2 after all :)
