F3-A Spanish GP Feature

Awesome racing guys. Banta and I were less than .6 seconds apart the entire first half of the race. I finally got by him around lap 11 when he made a tiny mistake on the final corner. That straight is too long to make a mistake!

Once I got by him, I assume the draft caught him unsuspecting and he spun - making the last 7 laps quite easy!

Well done everyone - fun racing.

Stupid me ... losing the frontwing in the warmuplap. Only good thing was Grecian had a good laugh about it. :-) Did that make you go off too? :-) Went to the pits to get it repaired. The crew started working on the car when the race started and it took about 9 seconds to mount a new wing. Then I got a DQ for leaving the pitlane under red. But there is no f*****g light at the end of the pitlane!!! Don't know how I could have avoided that. Anyone an idea?

I'm with you George, I couldn't see a light anywhere on that track. Not sure how that was missed on this track.

I've heard that if you start in pit lane, the light is red for 30 seconds (don't know if its true). I guess all you could have done is wait 30 seconds and then go...

You're not the first to get damaged in the formation lap and then DQ'd for coming out of pitlane too early.

This race was good! Was tough on the tires, the lefts taking a beating through the fast right handers!

yup, it's a pleasure to race with most of you. every great once in a while we have an incident, but shit happens.

anyway, me and bruce pretty much ran nose to tail for the first half of the race. but my outside front started to go causing my car to push on turnin. it only really hurt me entering the last turn, but that not a good place to struggle. Bruce finally got a run on me and i gave him the inside hoping he might over run it and i could make a counter attack. but he was perfect but i was right on his tail through Elf. but, my front pushed a little too much but if i turned any more i would of spun. so i did what i could but my outside rear touched the grass and spun me. i stop right on the racing line exiing the elf turn. i managed to get out of the way just in time for Grecian to go through. from the on i tried to catch up with Grecian, but came up a few seconds short.

Great racing with you guys, it was a blast as always. it fun knowing you can trust the guy next to you. :)
