F3-A Mills Metro Park Feature

Fun race. Caught tires with Craig on lap 3 and went off track (sorry Craig, I didn't watch the replay, no idea who's at fault but I suspect it was a racing incident - 2 wide into the corner. Sorry - I couldn't see where you were in my mirrors so I'm betting we were side by side with our tires interlocked). I waited to see if Craig was coming (he wasn't) and then had to wait for the field to get by (that's so hard!). Came back out in 10th I think and slowly worked my way up to 5th.

Great battle at the end with Barry. Nose/Tail for laps, and then he got caught out by a backmarker, wasn't sure which way to go around - and I caught the gap to pass him. Lots of fun and good racing Barry.

Excellent Racing all, minimal incidence and some very good racing.
Had a blast trying to stay with George P, think his tires faded before mine and had an opportunity to get passed , George was right on my tail for the rest of the race, one minor mistake and he would have passed me, fortunately for me I held on and pulled my first podium finish with R2P.

Yeah, a bit of a disappointing result. Didn't quite know what happened - I knew I was done for coming into the turn so I was braking quite early, must have caught you out a bit. You hit me right in the bum tearing off the wing and busting the rear diff, hence my inability to get going again. Got back to the pits, but once back out again the car was undriveable through the fast chicane, so I parked it.
Would have been nice to finish but not to worry.

well, i magaed to qualify 3rd only .088 behind pole which i'm sure shocked a few people since my best practice lap was a 1:11 flat. just shows you can't count me out in qualifying :-P

on the start, i dunno why, but i just didn't get off the line well. before i know it, i'm down to 6th. but in the fast chicane, 2 guys ahead of me crashed and i got back to 3rd. i wasn't too far behind Nick Johnson and Sandman, but i figured with my points title a stake, i wouldn't try to catch them. so i settled into a nice pace and let them pull away while i pulled a gap on 4th. that gap i left saved me because with about 7 laps left, Nick lost it in the fast left and was across the track. i managed to avoid him and got second. from there i just coasted home.

Man im such a n00b, didnt load my race setup and started with the default one...arghhhhhhh...so I just spun and spun and no real pace :) ..although I had a great start as i heated my tires and brakes so much on form lap and I was guilty of slowing the pack down a bit on form lap reducing the guys in front's temps lol, sry about that :))))

..but while racing i was smart enough to finish 8th which gave me a valuable pole for Sprint race woot! :)
