Brands Hatch WTC #2

Congrats to Pete & podium.

Got a decent start and at some point found my way up to P14 I think .... Was having some great side-by-side with a couple of folks, which was nerve-wracking, but fun.

And then it all went to crap. I was just trying to keep up with the people around me and threw it off the track in Turn 1 and into the barriers. Ruined the suspension ... my "chief mechanic" said the damage was beyond repair, so game over.

oh shame, I punted both Apex Predator guys in two consecutive corners :(
First one I was surprised by our diferents apex speed, second one I was completely deconcentrated

No worries Pablo, I ended up getting a disco anyway. I was slow in that corner because I saw Pete slowing up for another driver in trouble ahead and I just eased off because of that.
Terrible start to the series for us but grats to OTHR on a great performance.

My monitor blacked out right at the start, had to pull to the left into the gravel, hope everyone passed me without issues... Bad 2 races... With no practice this is what I expected... xD

I would like to apologize to Cristian for causing him to go off as I was coming back on track. I was trying to keep the car off the wall, and as I came back on, he made an avoiding maneuver and stuffed it. Sorry about that.

Starting from 12 but after two laps and spins of the others found myself on 7th. Made a slight mistake lap later and drop to 8th behind Mario. Closely follow him for two laps when I got a chance to overtake and get 7 back. Lap later also Heinz overtook Mario and was closing fast on me. We had 3 laps of very close racing when I tried to hold him behind with no luck and another trip off track after our side by side contact sent me to final 9 position.

Was very happy with my pace in both races and looking forward to race in this series. See you on next one.

Got punted again, this time by pablo, and then had to make a charge back up the field.

Had some nice door to door racing as some of the pics show, but unfortunately, the battle with Michael ended badly for him when he got too close to me defending the inside, i had to avoid being pushed onto the grass and held my car in place.

all in all a different experience to GTR2 racing, this GTR evo feeling like arcade racing, so perhaps i need to change my approach to this series and drive like the competition..
