F3-A European GP Feature

Grrrr - among my worst finishes. Turn 1 was a fiasco. I was divebombed (maybe that's too strong - but it felt that way) on both sides while trying to avoid the accident in front of me. I felt it was better to give up the spots rather than join the accident. Then, heading into the last corner, the person in front braked way earlier than I do. Thought it was better to go off the road than punt him. Too much damage to finish...

Oh well, that happens sometimes.

This being only my second race, and my FIRST completed, I'm kinda hapy, but am amazed at the laps you all put in...8 sec better than my damned best...whoo...I gues i'll get better at this,,, Anyway, was a whole lot of fun..

Sorry again to Tolga and everyone else for messing up the start AGAIN. Braked early enough just forgot how darned slow you have to take T1 and didn't brake hard enough, went a bit wide and got into Tolga. :(

Slowed down to wait for Tolga but in a really bad spot so I ended up going all the way to the very back and working my way back up to 5th place. Not too shabby.

Oh yeah, and thanks everyone for letting me by in qualifying. So very courteous. I didn't expect to catch up to a 3-car pack at the beginning of my first hotlap and wasn't sure if I should just keep going or slow down a lot. Dialed it back a little bit and the 3 drivers in front of me were kind enough to let me by at various parts of the track. Thanks!

Have to apologies to on the start as I brake kind of late and touched Debin too. Somehow I was on 4th place for the first two laps until I spun on the chicane. The problem was my engine died and I could not make it start again, and as I was in a very dangerous place, I decided to quit. Sorry for any inconvenience.

So that must have been you sideways in front of me then Fernando! LOL. Was sure I was going to T-bone you into tommorrow, but you dissappeared just as I got there. Whew. Then later I spun by myself and ruined my race anyway. DOH!

Had a great time in this series with you guys. Thx a lot. Tough competition all season.

Ah, so that's where the right rear suspension damage came from! I had no idea that you'd hit me in the race. I just flipped over to my car status to check things over and noticed that was the only place I had damage and thought it was odd since I didn't notice the hit. Damage wasn't too bad I only noticed it in the first few laps and only very occasionally after that. ;)

Yep that was me. I have also reported damage on the front of the car, but it felt ok while driving, so it must have being minor damage.

I am still a bit upset to have to quit as the car was feeling good, but I am glad I escaped on time to avoid ruin your race Dean, so you can ruin it by yourself, just like me ;oD

I have not find enough free time to race, even offline. I feel a bit rusty, but I will try to come back more frequently as I used to be.

Man oh man, I have to say it was prob the best series ive raced in for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time. You East guys just ROCK!!

My race was great, amazing actually, such a long battle with Darius which as a spectacle was nigh on perfect :)) I was suprised to be a sec quicker than Banta but I guess he was chilling having rapped u the champ before the 1st race started !!! :0

Nothing more to add except huge grats to Banta on champ, 2nd placed Bruce and the awesome guy in 3rd place :))

after seeing the race pace from the other 2 F3 races, i thought a low 1:55 pace would be pretty good. turns out that i was 1.5 seconds off where i needed to be. argh....

also, i hate this track so i'm just glad not to have to run here again for a while. Thanks for all the great racing and hopefully see you guys again next season :)
