Set a new WR in qual to put me on pole (pity this server isn't hooked up to nKRank) Got a clean start and drove a sensible pace to the finish. Great,if uneventful, start to the season.

Well done Stuart. It may have been uneventful for you but the 'netcode' did for me on T2. Nevertheless it was fun trying to play catchup. I must say I'm surprised that 20 people signed up but only 11 started! Oh well, there's nowt as queer as folk.

What should I say for this race? I should be placed better!
Couple days before I was slightly slower than Stu in a fight, also drowe than my PB, and now?
Bad luck in qualy(trafic)-qualy should be a bit longer?!, bad luck at race(crashes)!
Shifting mistake at 1.th corner after start, somebody contacted me in T3 or T4, had damage and drowe up from last to 5th place and than this stupid turn in slipstream of M. Zanon!
So sorry for that Mauro! I hited you out and you hade damage!
Enyway good fights with some drivers and I think clean overtakes!

In case of less entrys also think that is not fair that people sign up for race and not come for it!
My idea is to confirm the race again in the Pre race post max one hour before start! With short massage: "I come!" If the driver not confirm the entry, he is out of race and canceled, then people who are waiting can race and make the grid full! How usual can waiting people know is there a place free?

A rather uneventful race for me, this, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. As I'm still very new to nKP and this was my first "real" online race my main goal was to just finish the race, which I did so... mission accomplished.

I didn't set a quali time as I exited the pits too late and the session ended just a few seconds before I would cross the finish line to set a time. As a result I started last on the grid. I didn't mind, though, as this would put me out of danger from being taken out from behind. I took it really easy in the first lap and moved up quite a few positions after the first couple of turns as people went off the track in front of me :-)

Once everyone found their rythm things seemed to settle down, at least from where I was seeing it. I avoided close battles as I'm not very familiar with nKP's netcode and Ron warned me about close racing. I obviously didn't want to ruin anyone's race so I played it safe.

Congratulations to Stuart, though there was no doubt from the beginning that you would win ;-) Well done.

I, too, am a bit disappointed that there were a number of no shows. If you can't make the race, unregister from it and give people who are on the waiting list a chance to join. I was lucky enough to make it back on the "active" list, but if I'd been on the waiting list and I'd hear afterwards that there were only 11 starters I'd be pretty miffed. I think some sort of penalty for each "no show" would help. For example, if you didn't show up for a race in the past you'll be the first to get bumped down to the waiting list in future events. Hope that makes sense...

Oliver, you are allowed 4 no-shows within a 28 days window. Once you exceed that number, you do start getting moved onto the waiting list. We allow a few as we understand that there are some times you just can not unregister in time (job, wife, death, crash, too much beer, potty break, etc). Out of over 12,000 members, a whopping 18 have more than 4 no-shows currently (which is higher than normal)

Can the inclusion of an 'unknown member' in the results be right? If he's unknown he's not a member eh? This smacks of someone giving his unregistered mate the server password. Not cricket, eh what?

A bit of a "role reversal" from the Spa F3 race for me. I found the combination of FF1600 and Silverstone to be surprisingly engrossing, maybe I should do more FF1600 events.

Qualifying was good, I got a nice clear track and absolutely nailed it on my second attempt on a low fuel load to take 4th, just like the Spa race last time.

The race could be best described as a "boring treat". I could never hope to set laps comparable to either Stuart or Toni, so I kept expecting the hordes of hotlappers to make themselves known and stream past me......but amazingly it never happened! I must admit, I felt bad for Zoltan, seeing such good qualifying pace go to waste in the first corner, but at least unlike at Spa we didn't take each other out.....

Shame I can't make this report as interesting as usual, but it was pretty uneventful out there. Anyway, a great start for "Danica Fans Racing" and congratulations to the winner Stuart Whitehead. Can Stuart go 8-0 in this series? I wouldn't bet against it!

An English 1-3 on the podium on Race2Play, apparently the cricket is going well (not that I can stay awake through that) and there's an Englishman heading for the Tour de France podium. Not a bad time to fly the cross of St George eh?
