GP of Silverstone

That was going reasonably well after a terrible start until finally somebody caught and passed me and I lost it coming out of Woodcote. Almost caught it, then found mysef heading for the pit lane wall at high speed and decided to try and drive into the pits instead of crash into the wall, but finally it got away from me and I ripped a wheel off and that was that. :-(

Was pleased to do a 1:23.2 in practice, shaving .6 off my PB. Bit disappointed to only do a 1:23.8 in qually but third on the grid was better than I expected.

I would like a clarification of the rules regarding rule 25.6.1 - Marked Course. I saw a number of people in qually and in the race with the right hand wheels on the white line in the middle of Woodcote, and a few with them between the line and the curb. Do the white lines count as part of the marked course or only the track between them, which is the literal text of the rules?

Severe suspension damage because some idiot put this ridiculous turn at the end of a perfectly good straight. I deny all knowledge of said turn so the DNF really wasn't my fault. That turn definitely wasn't there in warm up and there certainly was no memo of it's arrival. Honest.

Dave, I am not sure which turn you are refering to... Im not good with turn-names :)

That was fun, even thou i had little practice and was setting up the car during praccy.

Start went well, gained a few spots then a slight touch with some ferrari car (i think)...oh so little but ib these cars it was enough to make him loose control.

Apologies for that sir and i took a self-imposed drive through as punishment.

well that was a fun race
amazingly i qualifed 4th only a couple tenths of my brother (got pole)
got a fantstic start which got into 2nd by T1.
after that it was a very quiet race. Then a stupidly fast ferrari flew past me and then took the lead not long after. after that i just crept home and finished 3rd
very good result for me after seeing some of the drivers there. but i did loose to the worst person for me to loose too. Scott figgen Michaels

Cant beleive I got pole... especially considering the speed a few guys had in the race (22s? What the hell!?!)
Anyway, the start went great... I'm so glad I wasn't in the pack because that looked ugly with the cars lined up so close! Anyway, I was extatic to see Sam running second, as I knew I could pull away from him. Unfortunatley this false sense of security betrayed me when I looked in my mirrors and found Kirill right there! Where did he come from!?! Anyway, I had nothing to defend against his rocket-powered Ferrari, so he went sailing by on the outside at Stowe after a few laps of great battling.
Second was waaaaaay better than I was expecting, and to have Sam in 3rd is just the cherry and icing on the cake... R4R rulez all!!!

I felt like the Minardi driver in that race.
Plodded along at the back, and managed to get it home and pick up a couple of personal points and something for the Team as well:=)

The Legends Big Guns should be back in action for the next meet, so until then...
