Well that was pants. Finished qually and decided that I should adjust tyre pressures and camber. Just about to make adjustment and session goes to warm-up. In garage change what I need to and save. WHY OH WHY did GTR2 put the default set-up back on coz the session changed? Over wrote my race set-up completely...

15/20 laps spent with the rears at 105-111 degrees and the car all over the place. Had easier V8 races... :(

Well raced everybody else...

wow. for sure a friday the 13th race.

i got one lap done in qual, and spun on that one getting together with someone who was passing.

race starts, i avoid a car going sideways into everyone, and make it through turn 1. lots of tight side by side and way fun. then lap 2 i get together with someone and lose my splitter. wee, there it goes. bye bye mr front downforce.

so i start falling back, i suck in the high speed turns and i have no front brake grip. oh well, it could always be worse.

2 laps later, as someone forces a pass in turn one and side swipes me, i get pushed into a wreck in progress, t-boneing one of the cars. DOH! surprisingly, my little 911 is still running, with a caved in nose. it also handled the low speed corners better at that point, go figure.

so i made the best of the race, making the guys that caught me work for the pass :) had some fun racing there, but eventually they got by me and i had nothing for them. oh well, it was still fun.

Tommy Christian worte on a blog that he is having a string of bad luck lately. I think I have him beat!

Not much to add, got a great start and after a few laps I found myself pretty alone on track and could start focusing on not driving too fast to keep the tires in decent condition for later, med-hard worked great for that altho could feel the rear was starting to get a bit nervous towards the end.

Too bad field wasn't bigger after all those signups prior to the racc.

That was fun. :-) Bep passed me in T2 because he had more speed on the straight. Bet he was on softs because after half the race I started to pull him in again on my meds. Managed to get passed after he went a bit too wide before that uphill climb. Was a bit too carefull in the last lap and we touched in the last turn. Luckily Bep also push my nose in the right direction again so I finished in 5th. Well done too my teamm8's Bep and Matej for getting 6th and 7th. Great teamresult guys. And grats to the guys on the podium. You were just too fast.

Nice one, take George position in first turn, and push hard to follow Joco, a bit too much cause I burn my tire (Medium). I try to preserve it and George can go back, He pass me well and it was very hard to stay close to him. On final lap, he goes a bit too easy and i can try a final attack in last 2 turn, but we have a contact and I see him going to a "tete a queu" I push his nose to let him finish at his normal place. Very nice race for UK-NL team great guys !

I couldn't quite pass Marko into T1 and then I spent over 10 laps behind him, having more speed but not being able to pass. Then my soft-med tires started to fade and Marko pulled a gap but he made a mistake and I got into p2, and that's where I finished.
