Not a bad race for me.

Qualifying was a disaster. Even when it was run in daylight. :) Just couldn't get a clear lap to save my life. I eventually ESC'd out cos I just couldn't get it together. If I ruined anyone's lap, I apologize.

The race went better for me. Starting in 16th overall, I knew it would take a lot of work to come up through the field. And it was. But I was patient, just ran my race and picked my way through a few spins in front of me. I settled back in and started chipping away at Michael Virt, who was about 20-odd seconds in front. He must have had an off at some point because suddenly he was about 5 seconds ahead and I was catching him. I smelled blood in the water and just had to pick my moment to pass him. I have to say, setting up a pass and making it work is very satisfying. To finish 9th overall and 7th in class after qualifying in 16th is pretty darn good in my book.

Congratulations to Luiz and Daniel and all the podium finishers in each class. On to Orchard Lake.

I had a good qualy just missed by 0.2 my PB. The problem was that my time put me between some GP1 cars.
At the start the GP1 guys blew pass me and going to T1 I saw some smoke in front and started to brake, wasn't enought to avoid the mess and after some bumps i was back on the route without major damage.
I was running second on the class now with first place in sight. After a tricky 1th lap I was ready to start to race my pace, overtook Virt on lap 2 and open a good gap until I realized I was short on fuel! My car was well set and i was able to save gas and keep a decent pace.
At the end a surprising win.

First half of the race was rather busy, and second half of the race was pretty lonely. Made mistakes at qualifying, made a mistake at the start, and actually managed to spin once during the race. My mind must have been drifting a lot during this one. Still, a second place in class is not bad. Congrats to Daniel for winning the ZR Class and Luiz for winning the H6 Class. Well deserved wins, both of you.

Hello everybody, I apologize to everyone for what happened today, really had no doubt a cut in qualy and was penalized, watching the replay of qualy saw in one of the curves actually escaped my car and I ended up running over the curb, if someone see my rounds in training will not see that in a moment that left turn high-speed I cut, because in my view it would not give me time, but until that can be considered waste time on that stretch, the good ja rule is so rigid I apologize to everyone!

I made a decent qualifying, I was easily following Kevin and Luiz, but in second lap I lost the back of my car. It was probably the biggest "NO!" cry ever heard in my house when I felt it. Impact was not a hard one, and the car was still in good conditions, so I came back to the track in 5th position. I was faster so I took it calmly, and recovered third position again. I had a good pace, but in the last laps Al appeared behind me. I don't know where did he get his tyres, but he was more than two seconds faster than me, so he was right behind me in the last lap, and then an overlapped driver blocked me, and Al easily overtook me through the inside. It doesn't matter anyway, it would had been hard for me to keep him behind me all the lap, he was damn fast.

Great race. It was so fun.
At the 1 lap, Kevin got the 1 position and I kept behind him with the difference between 0.5, 1 second. This continue until the last four laps, that I tried to pass him, but I knew that he was better than me in the 2 sector and the only chance I had was on the first corner so I did it, then I didn't know what happened with Kevin, but i opened 5 seconds. It was lucky for me, because I made a mistake on the last lap.
