Good race guys. Last few minutes of the race and my graphics card freezes up. Didn't see nothing, then the screen unfreezes and I'm spinning like crazy out of control. First time it's ever done this.

A stupid harakiri to me.
I don't know what I want to do!?I was easy in 3rd overall, lost concentration, hit wall and destroid car.
After that my race was like hike a mountain. Anyway I'm happy to finished, there was a moment I was near to hit ESC.

Congrats Milan, Mike & Kieron for their class wins... Early I found myself fighting with P2's... :/, made some mistakes and spun in low speed corners, 1st. stint was terrible and I almost lost connection again, but it held. After the 1st. stop all went smooth and mistakes were not likely to come again, which was good...Great track, whoever made it did a great job... I had full settings and the track is awsome! This track pulls you in many corners which sometimes made a bit difficult to pass the cars, but fun at the same time... I know first hand how to pull some Heikki Kov's moves.... :P

Ok So I was slow. I thought I was ok on speed but wasn't so I'm scratching my head there. In Qualifying I felt my gas pedal crack(I'm still using an old Saitek 220)(Yeah, I know!). Mashing it too hard for more speed I guess. I never really got a good lap in but I was probably 3 seconds off the pace anyway.
I spun on the formation lap! Started dead last. Got going and the bottom of the gas pedal broke off! Had enough left to use but that sweet spot was gone. I could still see the leaders in GT1 so I thought I'd be ok and hope for attrition to play a part. Well it did! For some reason when I'd shift down it would go 2 gears! So coming from 5th to 4th to 3rd became 5th to 3rd. Instant rear lockup and around we go. The bad part is it would only do it about once every other lap, so I'd get going and settled down then it would happen again. Don't know if it's the software for the wheel of the shift pot but i think I've about used up the old thing.
My left leg is still numb from the horrible chair I have to race with so thats out after today also! Hard to brake when you have sharp pains then numbness in your brake foot!(Yes I have a bad back and didn't go to the bone popper like I should've)
Ok other than overall terrible driving on my part I can't think of any other excuses to justify my stellar performance today.(I checked the universal "book of excuses" and didn't find much more that would apply;-)
I still had fun and congrats to all the winners! I apologize to all that I surprised by spinning in front of.
It can only get better from here,right?

This indeed is a great track. Designed by Hans (not John) Hugenholtz. Not a German .... he was Dutch. :-) We did a F1-race here not too long ago but I had to relearn the track again because the brakemarkers are slightly (!) different. Had to jump from a Porsche GT3 in GTR 2 (great 1-2 with teamm8 John Muller) to an Aston Martin in rFactor. Quali wasn't too bad but in the race I couldn't keep up with Kieron, Johnny and Gabor. Johnny's misfortune with the graphicscard handed me 3rd in the end. All in all a great teamresult with finishing 1st, 3rd and 5th. Thanks for helping out in GT1 Kieron. That was a great win. Will do my best in GT2 in Istanbul. Grat to Milan and Mike on their wins in the protos.

Very happy with that, everything went like clockwork.

I managed to get the car totally dialed in for the track and it was a dream to drive. Really stable and predictable which gave me a lot of confidence so I could push it quite hard.

Managed to get pole, so I just had to make sure I made a clean start and keep Gabour Behind. The plan worked but it was a little more hectic than planned as quite a few of the proto's spun in the opening laps meaning it was quite busy sometimes. 5 laps in though and everything settled down and I was able to concentrate on building a gap.

Coming up to the halfway point and my stop I had around 20 seconds on Johnny G. Stop went great and I came out in 3rd, 30 seconds behind Johnny and just over 20 behind Gabour. After a couple laps though it was clear they where both staying out longer than me. This worried me a little as I never looked to see if it was possible to do the race without stopping. So with 40 mins to go I got on it and started to push hard. 10 mins later I was just over 5 seconds behind Gabour, but exiting the chicane he peeled off and went down pit lane for his stop. Was releaved to see that as I was now sure Johnny would be stopping too who was now around 15 seconds ahead. And a lap later I passed Johnny as he made his stop.

After the pitstop shuffle I now had a 50 odd second lead over Gabour who managed to pass Johnny in the pits I guess. So with just under 30 mins to go I turned down the boost but I carried on pushing to keep the concentration up which worked great as the gap kept going up.

10 mins to go and I started to back off and let anyone past as soon as they got within 5 car lengths as I didn't want no mishaps, and just drove it to the flag to take the win.

Grats to Milan and Mike too for getting his 2nd win :). Grats to all the guys on the podium and all who finished. A special mention goes to George for grabbing 3rd in GT1 and also grats to my Teamies Matej and Paul. Well done guys.

Thanks to the proto's for being patient while coming up to pass me too. Had one moment with a P1 that got far too close for comfort in a very fast corner. For what ever reason he brushed my rear bumper and I absolutely shit myself. It didn't upset the car but I was pretty lucky I think, if it had done I'm pretty sure it would have been race over. But apart from that it was all good.

What a nightmare for me in last 30-40 mins.
Served drive through penalty after nudging one GT1 car to the grass (not causing spin, just nudging onto the grass/tarmac, but I served penalty just in case :-))
Before and after that had a countless spins and crashes :(
Luckily I finished first with box looking car.

Grats Omar for constant fast pace in the second part of the race.
Also grats to GT1 and P2 winners Kieron and Mike.
