Sorry I missed it. Wanted to do this race so bad I could taste it. Perfect time slot and all, but had company so had to back out.

Hope it was a fun, eventful race for all.:{)}

Pitted and left the car parked after about 5 laps. The setup was so bad, didn't want to ruin anyone elses race. What? I got a DNF? I thought if I parked the car and sat in my pit space I would get the last place finish, not a dnf? BS!

EDIT by TM; Chip, you have to cross the S/F line after the leader... you did not, hence the DNF.

I'm shocked! I've never turned a lap at this place and have turned only a few recon laps in a nGT car. Qualy'd 9th, was in sixth at the end of the first lap and stayed there behind 3rd, 4th and 5th for quite awhile. Someone (3rd or 4th) spun and handed me 5th. I ran pretty consistantly for a good while here as well, monitoring tires and fuel. I noticed that the car in front of me (which I thought was 4th) had a funny number over it (1 I belive). Huh?! It took me 2 laps to believe it. Now I'm panicking. My pit stop is coming and I don't know where pit entry is on this track! I joined right @ qualy so I didn't even think about pit entry. I took a stab at where it was since I didn't see it on the front straight, well the darn thing better be behind that hill.
I was nervous in the pits (I don't have much practice) and foolishly took on 4 new skins. This dropped me to 5th 10s behind Ray N in 4th. I pushed very hard and got to within 0.5s of him with a few to go. I wound up going wide at turn 1 and lost him. Great race! Lappers were great as well.

I did managed to touch someone at the start and turn them. I apologize. I had much more exit speed than you, so I don't know if you got loose in the turn or what. This was at the first left hander, lap 1.

Wow, and exciting race, but not in the good way. I had a great start and got a comfortable lead then settled into a steady pace. At about 25 mins my front tires started to get slick and Rick closed the gap quickly. We went into the pits together and, as usual, I had a longer stop than most and came out a few seconds behind him. On the second lap after our stop someone left the pits and drove right in between us into turn one. I ended up off the track on the outside to keep from hitting him.

From there I was left playing catch up for the rest of the race. Every time I would make some ground on Rick I would make an error and lose it back again. We were driving almost identical laps for the whole race and in the end it wasn't enough.

Congrats to Rick on a nice win.

This was my best qualify/starting posistion yet here at R2P, 3rd. I held it for a few laps then spun myself, back to 6th. Got back into fifth thanks to spinner, held that until I went to pit at 25 min mark, 35 min left.

Probably shouldn't have gotten all 4 tires, maybe none.
So I go back out in 19th and every lap pass a few in the pits. End up in 6th after all others pit.

Good battle in the beggining laps.
Thanks to the couple guys I lapped, very clean.
Also thanks to Miller, you were ahead of me and did not have to let me pass you like a lapper!! But I guess you saw how fast I caught up to you, or maybe you were going to pit that lap?? Either way thanks, very gracious of you.

That was a pretty exciting race from my seat, after qualifying 4th (a personal best), I managed not to screw it up through the first turns of the race. From there I knew if I could run through without making any foolish mistakes I had a good chance at another strong top 5. I settled into 4th for the first few laps or so while opening a small gap back to 5th. Before too long Ryan spun in T1 (sorry to see that) and I was in 3rd. From that point until I pitted at the halfway point I had very little breathing room as 4th 5th and I think I seen 6th in the mirror as well kept the pressure on (sorry I didnt catch who you all were). I pitted pretty much right at the halfway point and took another full tank and new tires all around, and after everyone had made their stops I found myself back in 3rd with 5 or 6 seconds between 4th. I gotta thank the lappers for being easy to deal with, they were no real trouble and I just drove smart and held off a hard charging Ray to hang on to 3rd and my first podium in a points race.
Congrats Rick and David, you guys were in a league or your own in this one.

Good race, the first 20 min the pressure never let up! Qualified 16th, had a good start passed a few going down the front straight, clean and inside for T1 off to the races...Now in 10th I followed S Metzler for 8 -10 laps in the TVR waiting to make a move, I take the chance and outbrake him down the long straight I start pulling away. I now look behind me ato see an intense battle between S Metzler, Mike Kolar, Tom Rue an unidentified Coka Cola car. With Dean S in front I was trying to keep up with him but he slowly pulled away as my fronts were shot and would not turn in ... then from nowhere Mike Kolar is on my tail and no sooner do I feel the pressure I glitch for a split second... the pack nudges by, I give some room and then the nemesis TVR comes on strong to punt me off in the last turn... Well Shane I guess you misjudged or just didn't want to slooooow down for the last turn. just a racing incident I'm sure. The rest was a bit lonely after pitting but a good race with a bad result.

I drove too hard to only get 15th ! Only made one mistake that cost me 3-4 sec's. Damn TVR and good drivers.

Gregg my bad dude. I saw you go wide into the corner so I thought you were going onto the exit curb. Either way my car understeered so i didnt leave you much room.

Mixed feelings about this one to be sure. I had to hustle my butt off just to get home in time to make this race. Luckily, I got in with 5 mins to spare.

With so much rushing around, I started qually with some default setting or something because my car was just aweful. Didn't even do a hot-lap, just pulled right back in to switch up. Come back out with right set, but forgot to dump fuel out though. Nice. Qually with 100L again! hehe.

Had the greatest start ever. By turn 3 I had gone from 13th to 6th! But then I got dive-bombed by not one, but TWO drivers, and was spun around! GEEZ guys, you really should know better than that. This is NOT a public server. Both of you would have hit me anyway had the other not been there. You were both coming in WAY too hot.(I checked the replay) I had passed you both and was clearly and squarely on the racing line when you both careened into my rear quarter! I would NEVER drive with such dis-regard to others like that. Why would you? I will always take to the grass in that situation.....far better than taking someone out! Please don't use other cars as your brakes!

Anyway.....movin' on....... That left me facing the wrong direction with everyone scrambling around both sides of me to get by. Really tried hard not to move until you all cleared me but I do have to say thanks to someone near the back who actually did spin me back around again :) hehe. Now I found myself dead last again though. aarrgghh. I must say that it was a lot of fun racing back up through the field though. Made the race quite interesting. The whole time I kept passing a car and then setting my sights on the next. Buckets o' fun.

I started the race with a full tank, so I ran pretty deep hoping that light fuel and fresh tires at the end would work well. Kinda worked out too. Re-entered the track in 9th after my stop for fresh tires and fuel with the next car only a few secs up. Started chasing him down and noticed that the car behind was keeping good pace with me now as well. Cool. Getting good now I thought. By the time I had knocked the 5 sec off of Gerry to catch him, Barret had knocked the 2 secs from me, so we were all nose to tail in the final laps. I knew I could keep Barret behind me, but really wanted Gerry's position. hehe. So I turned up the heat and rode his bumper hard hoping to pressure him into a mistake. Sorry Gerry, but it worked like a charm, and soon after he was spinning around in front of me. Unfortunetly, I was so close I had nowhere to go, and bounced off him......which in turn left Barret with nowhere to go.....and I bounced off him too! I definately got the better end of that deal boys. But it certainly wasn't what I had in mind. sry.

I'm sure I could have been up with the front-runners for this one, but as it is, I can be happy with 7th. After the red had left my eyes, I actually really enjoyed this race. Haha. "I'll be back"
