Well, I think we learned how not to run a race tonite. Something has got to be done about this racing from caution to caution stuff. We couldn't even get more than a half a lap in without something bringing another caution. There is no hope of actually running a race when 15-20 guys get it in their head that the caution is coming again soon, because that is exactly what makes them chain together. It seems like the races are getting worse every week. Maybe, something along the lines of a 2 spin/caution rule, with a week off if you do it repeatedly. That may force some to actually practice and not just show up, wreck 15 times, and then quit.

Congrats to Daniel on the win tho. You played your cards right.

That was a horrible display of driving tonight. I'm sure it wasn't any one person's fault and I will have to see what was going on to cause so many cautions. But, then again, I don't know if I can take watching this caution filled replay.

This race could have been great because I know some of the drivers put in a lot of practice and never got to show what they had and that is the biggest shame.

My comment about the starts toward the end tonight were not a desirable way to do it. When you jump to speed before getting the green flag and before you get to the start/finish line, that's called jumping the start. When you jump the start, and realize you're passing the pace car and slow down at the start/finish line, that causes mass chaos behind you. I know I almost got run over and wrecked when the leader almost stopped from a high speed at the start/finish line.

Practice is a key element in oval racing. Let me repeat...Practice is a key element in oval racing. Offline practice is Not going to cut it either. You will need to get on the practice server with others to get a feel of running with others.

Passing doesn't have to be before you reach turn 1. It's recommended and desired that you fall in line and give the race a chance to develop before trying to make passes to the front. Sure you may have a super fast car but it won't do any good when you hit the wall or cause a wreck with others. Remember, this is Not a road course and should Not be driven like one.

Perfect strategy and a lot of luck tonight.
Put a lot of practice for this one but my lack of abilities to configure a OVAL car setup stuck me 1sec behind the leader.
30 mins before qualy Bruno and Nobrega pass me their setups and i made a mix between both and to result was a smooth fast and safe setup.

Could not make qualy because my FFB went away...SO I started dead last.

On the first yellow i was 23 , than 19 and every little greenglag time we had i made couple spots until i reached the top 8.
I was driving safe , keeping my tires on the perfect temp. Many yellow flags after i was third(I overtook more than 20 cars on greeflag) and I went to pits for 2 Tires and Fuel. I gain Moseley's position on the pit and rejoin the track on 11th.
Couple more yellows and everybody in front of me pitted.
I was leading my first oval race. I was shaking before the first restart because was my fist time doing so.
Two more yellow's and I mess up the restart and almost cost Moseley's race. I was instructed to keep 75MPH until the green flag after that and all went fine, I guess .
I counted only 25 laps racing(green flag).
O lot of practice + HUGE amount of Luck = Win

I hope can be in a position to practice more restarts in a near future.

This race was not a race it was a parade.
I had a fast race car but I was never able to shoe it because of all the cautions. I race at another site and do not have this problem. it seams to me to be a lack of respect and patients with your fellow driver. I was getting smashed in the back end of my car during the caution laps.
I come her I pay my fee to race here and support this site and all we do is caution laps. I am hot about this so called racing here.
If you want to boot me them boot me for speaking out.
this is not fun at all. my team mate has complained about this and was told that once the fun run were over that is would stop. apparently not.
I race WCOR dirt trucks with twenty other trucks side by side and to not have as many crashes and spins. that's on dirt for christ sake. If you do so you take a drive through and if you do not you get penalized one lap at your next race. get a couple of those and you think twice about barging or pushing your fellow racer.
I did not come here expecting to win. some of you boys are fast. but I did come here to race you clean and get better by doing so. so far that has not happened.

Pretty amazing event. You guys do know that you can't go on the restarts until the green flag flies and not when the leader goes, right? Apparently some didn't know this rule at R2P. If the leader goes before the green, he jumped the start illegally and will get penalized. Everyone was jumping the start with the leader on mostly all the restarts. And then even more misinformation about the rule during the post race chat on TS. There's alot of new drivers that are here to learn the ropes, and they are observing and learning from people who don't even know the rules. WTF good is that? The end result is what we had for this event. If you don't know the rules, you aren't even supposed to be on the track.

BTW, I nearly pissed myself at the expense of some of you guys. The guys that just had to type in chat to complain before they left, but some of them were the very ones that caused problems. I guess we dont know the no chat rule either. For the record, we run R2P rules, not NASCAR rules. Put your specs on and read up.

nice race or whatever you call it. At one point worked my way up to 13th but then got a little push from behind into the wall and their goes the steering, so i finished may be thelast half or quarter of the race with some bent steering. Oh well!!

I never said that I was perfect mr holloway. from my point of view you were trying to block me. That I do not quite understand. But that being said I would gladly take a one lap penalty would you? If what I said gets everyone thinking and talking about it. then maybe It has done some good. Instead of pointing fingers lets work on the problem.
