Intro to V8 Supercar (Euro)

I'm very sorry to David Holden. I got distracted and totally missed braking point and crashed @him at full speed :(

It was my first race @Bathurst and I enver seen the track before and had only chance to drive 2 dozen laps there so my laptimes were not competitive, but I still managed to qualify 12th.

Race started rather calm - the guys ahead of me just pulled away and the guys behind had some kind of mess @the start so I had some free space. A bit later someone overtook me and 2 more guys were on my tail, and at the same time I approached David, who just recovered from a spin. I was right behund him, and a few turns later, in T1 I did that stupid move - missed the braking poind and creshed @David. The race was over for us :(

It's not so late that people should be sitting asleep when green lights come on.

Lol, yeah I had to use my horn to encourage some drivers to go when the lights turned green.

Me ? Bah, got hit by the 1fps AGAIN grrrr, and seeing it only happens with R2P races, alas it's the straw for me.

Bathurst is a great track, requires 100% concentration all the time. Sadly I did see some very unusual corner cutting up at Skyline and the Dipper :-(

Nice race. Started really good, from 3rd to 1st pos. but than I was losing concertration, especially mass understeer f**ked me on fast corners making me damage the car. Had a few very tight fight too. A good mod(DLed it today lol). Looking up for more!

Lost my wing at the grid by someone apparently in a hurry. Never managed to have it fixed and the car was quite difficult to drive. Nevertheless, I survived and it was a good experience for TPTCC season.

Well, that was one of the more frustrating races I've ever been in. Qualified 4th, then quickly left to change some settings. Assumed rFactor would restore my position like it normally does, but instead I find myself at the back of the grid! Now if that's not an omen, I don't know what is!

Race got underway, some clown looped it on the pit straight, but I managed to avoid that. Eventually got into 6th, about 15 seconds behind the leading bunch. A note to backmarkers here: let faster cars through BEFORE the Chase (big kink on the back straight). Someone had the idea to slam on the brakes on the racing line to let me through, which sent me on a big trip through the sandtrap. Put my head down and drove, and ended up 3rd by the time the pitstops were done. Then a backmarker altered his line to let me through at Forrest's Elbow, whereas I assumed he'd hold his line and I could go around the outside. The result was a lot of confusion and panel rubbing, and I ended up in the wall with bent steering and no front splitter. CRAP!

Oh well, last to 4th is OK I guess, but I would've done MUCH better if I'd started 4th (like I should have done) in the first place!

EDIT: I see the results still list my qualifying time, so why did I lose my position?

EDIT EDIT: It even lists my Q position as 4! Now I'm really freaked out.

I also got caught out badly at the start with no one leaving their blocks?
Piddled my way round trying to keep away from the walls and finished up about 9th, seemingly thanks to eveyone else's mishaps. I think I would of caught Tom M if there had been another lap to go, he seemed to be having to nurse his car gingerly toward the end?

well i suppose getting punted at the start is different,well done who-ever ,you must have practiced hard to do that :-(
kimmo what are folks to do? crash into the car in front,and ruin there race when there not at fault.

Well that was a messed up start guys...we are better then that so i though.so after being shown the wall when the green came out,i must have though it was a good time to get
out of the car and play in the sand in T1!!!.Never say die.So I got going again and race for some time by myself.Made my 1st round of pit stops,got patched up and went back out for more of what ever I was doing. I think racing..If u can call it that..got up to 9th before my 2nd pit stop.came back out in 11th, and though ill take 11th..well then 10th then even 9th with like 5 to go!! OMG then i got 8th!! With like 3 to go I must have become tired of my front end and decided to remove it..the easy way. by putting her into the wall in the last turn.But i was able to hang on to 8th!! I dont think I derseved it but like i said...Never say die.Thank you guys for the race Seeya next time..PS Don you would have gotton me for sure!!!lol

dint had much trouble lapping cars, so congratulations to them too

first stint, lost a lot of time behind Joco, who was defending very hard his position, when finally passed, it was time to pit, and here was my first mistake...
fueled the car up LOL
i had enough for 2 races hehe... took 13 seconds ...but in second stop, changing only tires took the same time (13 sec) as my first stop ....strange stuff
after 2nd stop i was in second and too heavy to push very hard so, even if the gap went from 9sec to 5 after some traffic i knew i couldn't catch Tom, so settled for it
