Fun-run: GTR2-V8 (Euro)

What a bummer. I was really looking forward to this race but I just couldn't get this car to do what I wanted to. I have a theory on that which I plan to test.

Then, after enduring the terrible handling my game crashed with only a few laps to go. I hope it didn't screw up Mr Adams and Doncheck who were right behind me at the time.

Terrible for me too. I hot bumped on the first right hand corner and bumped the wall then let everyone go by safely and rejoined only to have some bad understeer which resulted in me having to pit.

What a great race it was :). started 3rd and almost killed tim in turn 3 :P... good thing he saw me, i came inthere with waaaaaaaaay too late braking :P. So now i was following tim for 2nd, Enis was 1st. But Tim just got better and better and i could not follow him. Then made a mistake in last turn and lost all there against him so i decided to slow down and take 3rd.

I needed a result after all the things in last races, i hope this is the turning point ;).

EDIT: Bad luck Ryan, by your pace, i think you would realy have a nice battle with all of us in front places...You ll get us next time :)

i had a better time this event - lots of areas to let faster guys by -
lap 18 - last turn before finish i almost took myself out for tagging the corner and self spun , told to go to the pits by crew but figured i could limp it around for 2 laps -
whew - these cars rock !

Great race for me. Sorry to hear some had bad race.

Quali:
It was good, snatched pole with a time of 1:31.59, had a -0.3 and -0.2 on that time but it didn't materialize.

Race:
Was really good. Opened up 7 s gap, lost 2 in avoiding action when Roman Jamsek spun in 3rd sector. I was a bit too cautious in last few laps and Tim was gaining fast. Was intense!

A pole, a fastest lap and a win, I'd take that any day. :)

Mental start, but considering these cars - very clean. All good until the 2nd or 3rd lap when "someone" decides to use me to get round the bottom hairpin - and I was not impressed, Thanks for waiting! From then on (with the resulting damage) it was damage limitation for me - although some good fun for a while with David Poel, and my team mates Daz & Mark.

A solid result MOBsters! Grats to the podium - excellent pace.

This one was a disapointment. Qualified 14th which I was cool with, I like the track and the car so I figured I could just endure and pick up a top 10 somehow. The first couple turns into the race were pretty tight and while slowing up behind someone going into turn 4 another car came in fast and low and while I turned into him he was on his way into the tires, unfortunatly after contact I was too. The crew came on the radio and told me I had a punture so I limped it around to the pit, got serviced and pulled out just in time to get blue flagged to death while I let the field by as safely as possible. After a couple laps of that my heart just wasn't in it so I took a DNF rather than risk ending someone elses race.
Hope to see more of these on the schedule. Fun series.

Had a horrible qualifying session, loads of traffic then pushed to hard when I finally got some room and wrote-off the car.

Started in 20th and fought my way up to 9th after some good racing with Gregg for quite a few laps. Then made a dumb-arse mistake at exit to T5, (saw Paul was struggling up ahead and the red mist came down :) ), had to sit and watch the rest of the field go by. Only had a few laps to go but car was too dodgy to drive without a repair so made the pitstop.

Disappointed with my Q and final place but the racing was fantastic!

Was watching my mirrors and totally missed my brake point and was all I could do to keep from hitting you directly! : (

Had a great time even though playing catchup from the rear.

A little more detail about my race.

I was watching my mirrors because I was getting some hard hits from behind at the start, which ended up with me taking out poor Dennis.

After surviving that crash, I got rear ended real hard 2 turns later and both of us went sliding along the wall.

Had to let the entire field go by before I could get going again in last place!

So just settled in a survival mode (don't hit the walls!) and concentrated on the road ahead.

Had some fun laps with Goran and a couple other guys on my way to a hard earned 13th place.

I have to say, this was one fun race and can hardly wait for the next one (Aussie tracks please). : )

I saw a small gap at the hair pin and went for it, just couldn't turn it in enough sorry should have waited.

Funny old race for me I was quicker in the race than quali but I did enjoy it. just got to sort out the quali set up!
