Holy shiznit.

Well that was some bloody fantastic racing, cant remember how many times we all passed each other with only a couple of light touches, fantastic guys a credit to R2P/

One thing I noticed is how come we are running 4 less races than the Atlantic series?

R2P seemed to have a different version of the track than ISI uploaded, so instead of doing practice and qualifying, I was downloading the track. Got in the server right at the end of warmup, hadn't set a single lap in the BMW V2 on any track or Jiading in any car... probably shouldn't have started, but I was confident that I would learn quickly and am a competant enough driver to not cause a wreck. I was right, 23rd to 13th on the first lap, a little bit of contact but I think that was not my fault. As I learned the car and track, I climbed and climbed, eventually passing Sam for 6th. I was all ready to cruise home when, coming out of the last corner with 3 to go, my fuel light came on. In my haste to get on the dummy grid, I trusted what Sam put in the fuel tank (I didn't even know how long the race was at that point), and it turned out 2 spare laps just wasn't enough, so I ran out of fuel on that lap. If I'd noticed he's only put 2 extra laps in, I certainly would have changed it to at least 5, but oh well, my fault for not preparing, I guess I deserve the DNF, which sucks, because it was one of my best ever drives, considering the circumstances.
Sorry for my lack of preparation, but the whole track thing totally threw me off.

Congrats Tommy!@!! You drove a great race. I know because when I ran out of gas I got to watch you guys on the TV. It was good entertainment. Congrats to Tolga and John as well.

Like scott, came in cold. Had a setup from laguna seca that i slapped on, but couldnt qualify, just wasnt time. Started plumb last. Made a few positions up at the beginning and then slowly made positions with passes. Was enjoying the race although it was a bit rough. With 2 laps to go, closed in on Scott and made a pass down the back straight. Then on the last lap allen dive bombed me into turn 3. I had to back out of my turn in otherwise he would have hit me hard. Even so I turned in again late and we still hit. It was a pass that was never on but Allen emerged in front. I decided to match his aggression in the next turn and we touched (I'll admit this time it was my fault). Allen got the worse of it this time and spun and I continued to take 5th.

Really unhappy about that whole incident because it ruined a really good race from me, from the back, without any practice laps.

i also came in cold...sort of

my pc died after running the G3 and got in right at the end of qualy.

allen had told me he has sorted my brake problem and sent me his set-up.

the gearing was totally different to mine, i had to take 4 corners in 1st :S

i started in 22 and due to the 1st gear being set so high my car died at the lights.

i spent the 1st 6 laps ducking and diving spinning cars and trying to get pass Tommy G.

(i dont think i touched you when u span and try to avoid u as much as i could)

after that i was flying putting in the rest of my laps as 2:13s and 2 2:14s

i was catch people fast. also people running outta fuel/crashing helped me into the top 10 for 7th place.

Have you watched the replay John? I think you should.

Apologies for talking at start of race but screwed myself up by taking too long to decide fuel.
Clicked on race and was in the pits with the cars moving off, went down pit lane thinking I could get my position back on the grid ( ala Castroneves!) then realised too late the red light was on pit lane exit. Got DQ'ed and realised my mistake.

I would blame Jetlag but Dave and John managed ok so will put it down to experience for next time!

Well done Tommy and good to see the Sharks swimming well after two races.

I also took too long deciding over fuel. Starting from the pitlane I managed to pick up the odd place and eventually grabbed 10th when I think some people pitted for fuel. Considfering the disappointing start, I'm really happy with that.

A great race from where I was sitting, in fact I'm pretty sure I had the best seat in the house watching the top3 battle it out for 12 laps.

I was a bit disappointed with my Q time but I guess thats just nerves with such a short qualifing period.

Started ok and was a bit quicker than John on cold tyres but not quick enough to make a move, and make it stick.

I managed to keep pace with the podium who were all racing very close! About lap 7 or 8 I decided to play safe, save my brakes/tyres and wait for the leaders to have a "moment" and pick up a spot or two that way. Trouble was the "moment" never came as they all drove extremely well.

Still happy with 4th, congrats to the poduim...
