I have to say sorry to the guy i touched after 1 conner...I dont know who, but problaby the 5 positon...Sorry Dude, I'm very shamed about that...It was my faul, i looked back (pressed a button) for a moment to see if someone is on my side... Usually I'm very careful at startings and that never had happened to me. Sorry again....
after that I lost completely the concentration and abandoned the race.

I think it's great when a guy that wrecked someone jumps on the post race thread and makes sure the first thing he says is an apology. Race incidents are alot easier to swallow for the victim when they know the other guy can fess up to the mistake and apologize. Just thought I'd throw that out there:) Nice job Fernando.

I decided at the last minute to sign up for this race, didn't have a setup and was on the waiting list. Found a set in Kent Welker's garage, grabbed it and waited. Finally was let in and got in a few practice laps.

Got caught up in the stuff at the beginning and got some damage, but it didn't seem to make the car drive too bad, so I didn't pit to get it fixed. Had a great battle with Bob Fay for a few laps, we each got around each other a few times, and then I think he let me go? I hope it was not because you were worried about me being behind you. That was just a little love tap, not on purpose for sure, just was a little closer then I thought. I do apologize for that, glad it did not cause an incident.

Kent's setup was awesome, very comfortable to drive. I need to look at it and figure out what he does differently then I am doing. Thanks Kent!

Had a blast, see you guys tomorrow night for some f3 action.

I was lucky to survive! Lap 1 I hit the wall coming out of the last chicane and damaged the whole right side of my car and then had a rear end wobble and a steering pull from then on. I thought that would be the end of any decent lap times then.
The car slewed a bit under brakes, but all in all still managed to lap very well. Phew!!!

I saw JBrennan LEAP off a curb at a chicane. 15ft or so into the air and flipping end over end!! That is one really dumb part of this Mod - there is something badly amiss in the physics somewhere (a few things) and that aspect can totally ruin races unnecessarily! You definitely have to stay away from most curbs!! When you practice make sure you DO drive over them ALL notably to see which are critical not to go near - some are ok.

PS: Good driving Chris! In our battle into the last chicane on Lap 5. (and the whole race really).
I wanted to slow a FRACTION more so I could leave a car width through the left side for you, but couldn't quite leave that as it turned out! Running over a bit or curbing made the braking less effective. Luckily you had the view to see what was going on - all I saw was you brake early and had to guess where you were and what your plans were! lol (thus the automatic 'need to leave a car width left' idea).

All I can really say is wow. Everything started out well with a second grid slot from a qualy lap where I hit the final wall. Other than the terrible start, the early part of the race was quite good for me, I was even keeping up with Tommy for the first 3 or 4 laps and felt confident in second. Somewhere around 5 or 6 though I had the craziest accident I've seen so far.

Coming into the chicane after the first straight, coming out from under the bridge, I turned into the corner too far. I remembered thinking, uh oh, if I keep this stable it's going to be a severe cut off the track, if I don't I'm going to spin into the wall. Instead I flipped the car. I don't mean tipped it over, but I actually flew through the air, end over end, and landed on the grass on the left at the end of the chicane. Fortunately I landed almost perfectly.

Somehow I mostly survived, but some rear bodywork was in the yellow and while still attached, the rear spoiler was in the red. I was able to keep fourth, but a few laps later the lack of full rear downforce got me and I spun into a wall. I had severe centering issues after that, and just as I thought I was getting the hang of it... I ran straight off the road at the first corner... game over.

Anyway, it was definitely a good race while I was in a working car. I would suggest anyone who wasn't able to see it in the race go check out the flip. It was pretty remarkable.

Wow Bob, I had no idea we got that close. I wonder if having surround sound will help me pick out where people around me are a little better. That could have been a wreck, looks like I squeezed up on you. Thankfully wheels didn't touch!

I had one passing opportunity on Peter when I managed to get beside him down the back straight, but I couldn't close the deal in the chicane. I should have known that two wide just doesn't make for a fast exit there, but fortunately we gave each other enough room to come out unscathed.

I ended up gaining a position when Justus performed his aerobatics audition, but other than that my race was uneventful.

I'm glad to have finished on the podium, especially at a track that ranks near the top of my "what the hell were they thinking" list.

Boy have I got a lot too learn.Made it through the turn one mishap with out a scratch.Came too a complete stop,so I left there pretty much at the tail end.Made up a few spots,had a blast with Barrett and Francesco.We were side by side going through the hair pin.Got a run on him going down the long straight into the final chicane.Got the line but pushed to the wall and contact.Car pulled left hard after that so pitted for repairs and ended up 11th.
Whole idea is too get some laps in and too finish.
Grates too Tommy C and the other pods.

Justus I saw the RP....no body told me the air show was on..lol

Seriously, do I qualify for style points? I landed it and everything;)

Once again i had some serious fun racing in this one.

Lost the usual handful of positions in the first few turns, then settled into some really nice competition with a lot of people in the first few laps, then the laps with Ron and Francesco after things had spread out a bit.

At one point, lap 6 i think, Ron was making the pass at the last chicane, and i was discovering that Francesco had more braking power than i. Francesco went into the grass and touched the wall. i don't know if that was an evasive move or not, but just want you to know Francesco, that i was just about to do the same thing to avoid hitting you when i saw you move.

i didn't take advantage of that, of course, and Francesco retook the position at exit when Ron tagged the WOC.

Great fun guys!

Spent the second half of the race trying to close the gap to Ralph, got close (less than half a second at the finish line) but no cigar.
