Its just such a waste of time... no reason at all, but my internet just died on me for about 10 seconds, which was enough to throw me and Sam out... its been doing this a lot... I don't know what to do... pole to nothing, ridiculous.

2 races-2 blown motors. I had a rad setting of 4 this time too. Guess 6800rpm's was too much for the ol' cooze cruiser. Just couldn't believe it when I saw smoke after an hour! hehe.

My pit crew is good, but my mechanics are pussies!

My rotten luck at this track continues. Blew the engine about halfway. My teammate reminded me in practice just last night about these cars and Magny. I dropped the revs and had the radiators maxxed. But qualifying came and the track temps were in the high 60s F. Then warmup comes, and we get a hot track with showers. So when the race started, and we had the same conditions, I figured on seeing rain later on and added max wing, maxxed the rads but kept the revs at max also, figuring on a slower race pace later on. Should be OK, right?? Wrong. The sky turning blue with no rain meant the faster cars kept pulling away every lap, and Dennis Morissette keeping me honest just a few secs back. I was keeping the revs out of the redline for the most part. I pitted at my scheduled stop, dropping to last place. After the pitstops cycled through I was back to 17th. But not for long. Without warning the telltale black plume in the rearview slapped me upside the head. Terrible luck here. Grats to the winners and podium. Had some good clean passing today, it was really alot of fun!

Car was absolutely perfect and real joy to drive. Driver was utter crap.

I got a migrane right after my pit stop and had to stop again for medicine. I'll do my post race later when I can see.

F**k this... Pigs will fly before any Dunlop porsche will win this thing in normal weather. Tires worn after 35 laps, laptimes down +3s... No fun driving this.

Had some nice fights with Kent, hope it wasnt too crazy. Grats to winners and also to Tolga and Conor!!!

Knew this was going to be a 3-stopper for me. So I had a strategy of 100 - 84 - 84 - 84 taking only new tyres at the 2nd stop and that worked well. Was expecting rain in the first stint, and I had the fuel to go on if the weather got worse. But when the skies cleared up I kept to the original plan. First stint I got stuck behind Marc and Johan so I was pleased to enter the pit for my first stop. After that it was keeping a good pace and not making any mistakes. After Marc retired I knew I would see Johan again at the end of the race. When I did my last stop I came out about 9 secs in front of him and managed to keep it that way till the finish. Very happy with a 5th place. Still don't know where my teamm8 is. Hope nothing bad has happend. Grats to Nuno and Ari again for the win in this one. Have seen enough of Magny Cours for now.

Can't believe it. Just as I exited 1st pitstops, on 34th lap of the race brake pedal spring broke. D'OH!!! So I had to drive 2/3 of a race with brake that felt softer than my throttle (soory to anyone that found me erratic at the time, it was the shitty brake pedal). That lost me on average around 1 second per lap. :(

Result at the end of the race was satisfying, just wish my brake lasted as it would be a race long battle between Nuno and me.
