After healthy lead (40+ seconds) I lost connection with server :(

In qualy was bad and earn only 4th pos.
In race I was much faster then in qual and after great battle with James I take the lead when he had an accident with some lapped car.
And after 1 hour and 15 minutes lost connection with server.

First apologies to Marko. I looked away the moment everyone started braking on the back straight and shanked us both ass backwards on the formation lap. My fault...looks like you recovered pretty well, but still it was a boneheaded mistake.

Then, as is expected these days again my friggin' pc locked up.

I'm pretty sick of this...even with the new card, a clean machine...i'm fucking stumped.

Was in last after screwing up the formation lap so no loss anyway.

Well, I got pole position, then I got knackered before I even made it to the first corner by some over zealous driver trying to win the race in the first corner on the first lap. WAY TO GO!!!! Then while taking evasive manuevers to avoid a wild passing attempt by another over zealous driver I am slapped with a stop and go penalty for "cutting" the chicane. Great. From pole to last in one lap. I decided to park the car due to my rather irritated, aggressive, wanting revenge state of mind.

After I parked the car, I watched the race and saw some pretty piss poor driving by a lot of folks.

The poor Ghini is just such an underdog here. With it's sad straight line speeds and the fuel consumption there wasnt much I can do but go balls out.

did well at the start and was running 3rd for first stint... nice and comfy. After the first pit Dennis slipped past me on cold tires and I spent the next stint abusing him as best I could. Huge, epic battle between the 550 and my little Ghini with both cars showing very different strengths and weaknesses. Dennis had the legs on the straights but the Ghini can out brake a dragon-fly on 'roids'. Had such a great battle until the constant tow of the 550 and over-reving that ensued, cause the fuel-guzzling motor of the Ghini to final let go in most dramatic of fashion... at full speed just after S/F.

Even with my no-choice 2 stopper race, I really feel I had something for the leaders today. My 2nd stop was going to be only 9 gallons of fuel and no tires. That would have put me fighting for the lead in the final stint by my calculations

My first long distance race in a 575. The car felt comfortable during practice but then the temps were higher. The meds I started on didn't get their right temperature and I was really struggeling with it. Never considered a one-stopper cos my calculation showed 224L needed so I went for two. Took softs at my stop and they felt better. Then .... I spun in the second chicane and Milan ran full into me. After a long stop I went back on track and didn't see Milan anymore and I presumed that hit took him out. Really felt miserable about that idea until I read his post-race. For the rest ... I'm happy with 5th but with so many accidents and disco's it's a bit .... nah. Well done one the win Craig. Great strategy. And ofcourse to Marko and the other podiumfinishers.

Was having a good fight with Milan. I had the lead of the race after approx an hour. When coming to lap Jeff Stribbling for some reason he fights me through the 2nd chicane then punts me at the next left hander. My car flips and I am out. For gods sake I am leading and trying to lap you. I dont understand why you would fight like that, when you are being lapped. This was not a case of me not being patient, you had plenty of opportunity to let me go.

As usual we had a battle with Mark McClean, very tense, but fair. We were closely matched (he was faster, but made more mistakes, lol. Then after the s/f straight I was looking back too much, missed a braking point. I let Mark back through, but the stupid game gave me a stop/go. I feel robbed of a great finish. Car felt great and I would give Mark the run for his money. Good race all the same. Well done, Darren, good points for the Legends.

Qualy went aweful.

Race started off terrible, there was an accordion effect going into T1, when I noticed the problem I hammered my brakes, turned to the left to the grass to avoid any contact and the driver in front of me had the same idea as did the driver behind me, the crash just chained all the way back into my front and rear, I took my drive thru and plugged away at laps, pitted first to repair damage, and continue on. The car was junk after the first turn malee, I was down 10 KPH down the front, All it was...damage control from there.

I need to apologize to 2 drivers, 1 James W I was not aware you were beside me until after the first lesmo when i seen a cartwheeling red car, truly sorry :( 2-Darren or Les, Heading into lesmo again, you braked trying to allow me to pass and I was not expecting a huge brake job and all I was going to do is follow you thru the corner, but I think your intention was to allow me to pass when then hit you square in the bumper, I am glad we were both able to continue.

Just a final note, The GT-Open until today had the best sportsmanship of all the gt classes, but for some reason there was the idea it needed a vacation and some over aggression was displayed which ended some peoples races.

Happy me after warmup lap to stayed alive.Yet my car was not that ok , which I repaired in pit after a long 1h.My back was sliding,and not that stable as it should.I have seen you Tracy to trying some maneuvers behind my back.I don't know what was you trying to do , you could easily ruin my complete race, happy me my engine stayed alive.

The race was good as I can say, did spin few times lost about 30sec on my mistakes and so on.
Happily good ending for me , did a new track record a win a race.
Too bad for Milan and James,as could see from the back you two was fighting for positions , and it was nice to watch you from back :)
