USA GT: Brno

That was an awesome race. Had Bobby in my sight for the whole race. His pitsstop was a bit faster than mine which made the gap about 8 secs. When I closed that down to 3 I made a mistake. Too early on the throttle made me go off losing about 13 secs. After that I thought I settle for 2nd but that was a mistake too. I saw the gap decrease again with about 2 secs per lap. So Bobby must have had worn tires or was saving fuel. That last was the case he told me after the race. I knew I had enough fuel for 46 laps so I pushed to catch up again. Well .... you can the result of that in the raceresults. Lesson learned today ... NEVER GIVE UP. :-) Some great racing Bobby. Enjoyed every minute of it.

This is probably one of the most frustrating races ever! I had an error-free drive, very strong quali pace, and George's pace was under certain control. Did my pitstop right before mid-race, and i accidentally short fueled about 5 liters. But i didnt realize that until late in the race, so the last 20 minutes i was conserving fuel, grinding my teeth thinking i might be about 1 lap short. So George gave me some breathing room, he had an off which cost him about 13 seconds, so i decided to take it very slow and try to finish the race. So George closed in on me, up to half a second, in what i thought was the penultimate lap. To my surprise the race finished with 20-25 seconds on the clock, and i found myself winning the race, with 0.9 fuel left!!! A thriller turned in a Rocky-style ending! Awesome race George, you had me pushing the envelop all through the race!

Good Race. Congrats podium. Looks like 1-2 had a great rACE. Fun race for me, with a racer less than 2 second in front or behind me the whole race!! Great racing FZ and CC. This is a great series, too bad the grid isnt full.

totallly screwed my car up and barely touched the grass letting a faster car by in the long straight ,slammed the wall hard ---- limped around to pit -
fixed it - went for some more laps - felt funny - turned way better to the left than the right ----
disreguarded that and drove around it thus pushing the fact i had 10th locked up if i was able to finish- pitted twice this time - once was unschedgualed but im very happy with a top 10 for the last week of this track!

I was having a good race in the Vette but I was having to push it to hard for to long. The motor finally let go with 20 minutes left in the race. Also I planed for two stops which is a failed strategy. 50 seconds a stop is just to long to be competitive.......I still had fun......

Fantastic race. Loved every minute of it even though I am clarly still off the pace. Ansoon,Ciocanau,Erickson,Ortega,Rue,Spencer we had a brilliant battle for a many laps-- sometimes bunched up together, sometimes one on one-- super stuff.
I joined practice with five minutes to go, went in cold in qualy- -basically took fuel out. Once everything had settled in the race, essentially after my pitstops I spent my time chasing Barrett Erickson who masterfully kept a good buffer between us. In the end I could not even come near him, but I am very happy with my 6th position. I agree Ryan-- great series. I think I am missing one of the events due to my summer vacation but hopefully I will see you at Oscherslwhatever. It was a pleasure racing with every single one of you.
