Got 2nd in quali and had a good start getting into T1 first. Slowly extended the gap to Michael till about 16 seconds when it was time to pit. Got into some traffic after that and had a 550 close behind me on the straight and I was not sure if he was trying to make a pass or not. Got back to front view too late .... missed my brakemarker and damaged the car badly. Repairtime was about 98 seconds. :-( Got back in 8th. Spent the last laps trying to catch Daniel but ran out of laps and time. Giving the big fubar 5th isn't bad ... but I should stop making those stupid mistakes. Costed me the win this time. So grats again to Dennis, Tommy and Les for getting on the podium.

Great win Dennis and a great drive Les. I was sure glad to see the checkered flag come out because two more laps and Les would have caught me.

My appologies To Berry Hedrick again for the contact. Barry I tried to wait for you but you must have had to much damage because I didn't see get back onto the track.

WhaT happened to Barry Kennedy? I think he might have had another Disco. If so thats two in a row..tough luck Barry.....The trusty Vette came through this time without leaving its blown engin parts all over the track......;%)

I was running third, and a few laps after my stop I came upon a car that had spun and was turning around on the track. He backed off the line, and just as I went to go by him he pulled forward and BAM! Game over. Oh well, that't racing. I hope he will understand not to do that again.

Anyway great race Dennis. I could not keep up with
George in the first stint. Nice racing.

Great racing in the opening laps guys, I was in 7-9th during this time and 5,6 or 7 of us were all very close for 3-4 laps. I slowly fell back; just didn't have the pace. Made a major error for big damage; fell from 8th to 13th. I passed a few legit but gained the rest from the discos or crashes.

Fun race, I'm happy with the finish after the large crash that the pits fixed very nicely!! Even if it took 1.5 minutes....

Had a great race considering i didnt setup my fuel right i had to make a extra stop.And george that was me behind you when you over shot turn 1 that 550 has great straight away speed so i figured it made ya nervous thinking i was going to run you over and hell of a drive tommy in the vette and congrates dennis on your 2nd win.

Ah oke Les. :-) It didn't worry me cos I knew you still had to stop, but it was for position so I just wanted to see on which side you were so we could stay out of trouble if you had planned to overtake. But being a bit too cautious isn't always good so it seems :-).

I was a late entry in this race,had considered the Gt events,but as i never drive them,figured i might be too far off the pace.As the missus was at work and i knew the Lambo,i said what the hell.As it turned out,i was not that far off the pace and had a great time towards the end of the 1st stint harrassing Tommy.The car was excellent on medium tyres and was looking forward to a good result.Then as women can do,she came home from work and suggested we hit the bar for a bit of a party,damn,why now,so,being an alkoholic,what could i say,hit the pits and pulled out,srry.It was a tossup,i hate DNF's so bad and by the results,i could have had a good finish.

Never had so much fun finishing 9th. Had not taken a lap around this track in this form until 6:00 p.m. Q-ed like crap as expected. Terrific side by side or nose to tail pretty much all night. Error about tires was a huge cost during 1st stint causing a pit about 12 laps early. Worked up to 6th but with 12 mins or so left, I was on fumes and had to surrender it. Killer, just killer. This was the cost of poor front tire choice. Thus, 9th.

I like the GP layout a ton but this version is very much cool.
I saw alot of great great driving also.
