Great, a disco!!

All cars dissappear and after a minute I get kicked to lobby, but connection is still working. Happened yesterday in GTL and last week in G3 qualify...

First of all, really sorry to Craig for the wreck on lap 3. I guess that Ferrari brakes a lot better than my Lister, because I went into T1 expecting to get a run on you into T2 like the lap before, but before I knew it I was racing up on you at a far too great speed. I dived to the inside to avoid rear ending you, made door-to-door contact and stupid GTR2 sent you for a flying lesson. Shouldn't really have been more than a rub, but ended up ruining your race, and I'm really sorry. FWIW, I certainly didnt outbrake myself, I made it round the corner comfortably, but I guess you where just being cautious on the first few laps or something? Either way it was my fault and I apologise :-(

Anyway, the race was fun, lots of hard work. I had a nice laptime battle with my brother in his Lambo, but every time we got within 2 seconds of eachother both of us would start warping really badly, so when that happened we agreed to let the faster one go ahead. First time around Mike Arn did it for us, by ramming me up the backside after I lapped him (that feeling is getting far far too familiar these days). Second time I was the faster of us, so Sam kindly let me through and I went on to nearly catch Cristi ahead, but that 550 was just too much in the last 10 minutes, and my old tyres could give no more, so I finished 3rd, 2st in the non 550 category :P.

thats was a hard fought race
i sucked in quali and couldnt get a clean lap in and started 8th. i had a good start but throgh it away when i understered straight onto the gravel in the exit of turn 1.
then i had a good battle with claudiu but as soon as i got by him scott was in sight and for the first time in about half a year i had a chance of beating him :D.
i closed up and passed him when a back marker took him off the road. then pitstops came and i entered the pits 10secs infront of scott and came out 5 secs infront of scott but then he started to hunt me down. I had to let him by when he got close enough cos me and scott always get really bad warp :(. but i kept him 5 secs ahead.
unfortuneatly i didnt have the speed to reel him so i had to stick with 4th.

Me too, got disconnected when the warmup session finished :(

Sorry to Andre van Staden for the punt - the warping was indeed bad. Your car appeared about a car lenght in front when I felt the contact and then I also spinned. Didn't see you anywhere, thought you could go on racing, then I saw you parked in the pits. Sorry. Before half of the race I also discoed. I had troubles joining the lobby before 8 pm today so it may be connected? Hope you had a good race and I hope Peter Allnut didn't have too bad an entry into R2P despite several contacts. From my point of view a lot of them were unnecessary and too agressive moves were made by other drivers, but it may all have been warping. Keep it up, Picnic!

Totally unexpected win.
I never used a 550 before and first time i saw this laout was yesterday race.
Nice race, my rithm was splitted in 3 parts...easy start to preserve tyres and fuel....pitstop (where i lost 10 seconds because i mapped starter and alimentation buttons...but i lost more than on autostart procedure!), then pushing to the limit to chase Cristi. But he got a penalty, i guess...so i slowed down, driving like a grandmother in Sunday morning....and wishing to arrive with the car in 1 piece!

Hi all. Great race. First I wanna salute Tom Ostry :) a real gentleman and fellow driver.
I just want for the next races that the stewards pay more attention to the overall situation and take a moment to think before throwing out a drive through penalty which cost me the race and almost the second place too. I analyzed the official replay and until the pits i counted every green cut of me and Roberto in T1 and chicane, the rest lets say i didnt count them as i believe they are not relevant. so till the pits i had about 3 cuts at the chicane more than roberto but he had about 20 wide T1 exits more than me. i do not blame the decision as i know i cut bad there but i ask for fairness for all. thank you, it's a pleasure to find real gentlemen in the races here. good night. see you on the track. god's speed.

You can go on the outside green but not the inside...

Mh i dont know, but i can say cutting white line was a NO-NO...and green cut was said to take with care...
i rarely put 2 (never 4) tyres out of white pit line...so i had to drive slightly out of t1.
I'm sure steward(s) will clarify your drivethrough, Cristi.

Joco I rememeber the rule was: Green is offlimit. Not outside green ok, inside not ok. Maybe I'm wrong ;) in T1 exit I almost never went wide.
L.E. Roberto I don't blame you or anybody else for that matter :) relax. You didnt cut on pit lane, but on the exit of T1. anyway you deserve it fair and square mate. the mistake was mine and mine only. congrats again. you are a good driver to race with. see you all at the next one.
