Euro nGT: Hockenheim

Not enough wrecks or retirements. Much too clean - how the hell am I supposed to make up spots if you all drive like that :)

I am really sorry that I nearly caused a pile up in turn 2, I was more concerned with the cars I thought were beside me and not concentrating on my braking point. It was a totally rookie error, I wasn't trying to make a move or anything, I just missed the braking point. If I was on the outside I would have chucked it off the track rather than hit anyone, unfortunately for John I was on the inside and couldn't stop it before I was drifting across the track straight into him. I just watched the replay and saw that Enis had to slow up also and knowing he was in a championship fight I was really ****ed off with myself. I'm just glad I didn't do any more damage to the rest of you or take Enis out completely.
I don't even want to write about my race after that, just wanted to apologise for that fiasco.
Congratulations to the podium and the series winner, well done.

My worst race ever...

At the start i was quite happy that i could avoid the party in turn2.
Then everything was good till the pit stop. In the pit i lost about 5 positions, then i went a litle bit crazy and started pushing too hard than made many mistakes.

No preparation,no setup,not alone in room,changing tires(but I shouldn't) results 30+ sec gap.
Grats Scott for great drive , I was totally unprepared.

Sorry Joco , we had some contacts ,where I tried to stay fair most the time,and let you stay in front of me.I hope that all is ok with you.

I'm disappointed. It's not because I lost the championship, it's because how I lost it. Fell as victim of two very unnecessary/stupid (or whatever one wants to call them) actions. I can't express myself atm, need a cold shower.

Guess we're all humans, forgive and forget.

Scott was amazing quick here but I fancied any position after his. As Darren described he hit me in turn 2 at the start and it was a case of starting from the back at that point. Its so hard to pass here but i made places here and there. Allen was a tough nut to crack. I got him into turn 2 but went a bit wide on the exit and he got alongside on the outside. We touched each other but Allen being on the outside suffered and went off. I drove half a lap thinking about what had happened and then decided it was a 50/50 accident and decided to slow and let him re-take his place. I made a mistake after that when my G25 double shifted and turned me into the sand at the double right hander. Luckily I was amongst the last to pit and didnt change tyres. This put me in 9th place and I was able to hold this to the end.

Dont worry about the punt Darren, its one of those things I guess. I really enjoyed this race and saw some class polite driving today!

Only started to do nGT some time ago and it looks like I'm getting the hang of it. Quali was a pb but 13th is not a nice place to start. Pitted in 9th and eventually finished in 7th which was more than I hoped for regarding the class field we had in this one. Had to go around a frozen on track car 3x which costed me a position, but no harm done in the end luckily. Grats again to the podium. That long pitstop nearly cost you the race it seems Scott. Also grats to Mark Mc for winning the championship.

Somehow I avoided 1st lap t2 mess (guys it's a 1h race... ) where it seems i always get some scratches, i had a good close race with Mark...i had a little contact with Enis,making you loose 4 seconds; but i guess (hope) that wasn't one of the big 2 troubles you got in this race. I lost, as always, too many seconds (+10) in pits compared to everyone, and after i had only big luck in finishing 5th after Joco(?)/Enis huge crash in the twisty "Stadium" section.

ps, being passed and lapped is not a nice or easy thing, but please don't wreck or get nervous and loose control just in front of who laps you!! I hope who should get this message...will understand what i mean:)

Actually Roberto that impatient move by you initiated a spin, it's true I only lost 4 seconds. But that's not all I lost. Mark overtook because of what you did, that was the huge problem. I knew I was going to be slower than Mark in first stint and I also knew I would be faster in the second stint, that was my tactics.

I wasn't going to name names, but you started it.

That very impatient (to put it midly) move (I don't think anyone can overtake THERE unless you're side by side before turn in and you were 0.4 seconds behind) was a huge blow to my race tactics as Mark was now ahead of me, later in the race another not very thought trough move completely finished my race.

well i didnt want to pass u, i just holding a different line, indeed i touched u slightly and only on your right-back side...but i can understand your anger. If u feel it wasn't a race accident, u know the procedure and fill a protest.
To be fair, someone hit me on first lap and i think (it means that i'm not sure) it was u, but i dont care.
I'm expecting some revenge at Monaco ;)
