Sugo PCC

Well, i really was looking forward to a good race. I checked the standings and knew i had to get a good finish to stay ahead of Mark. Bernardo was not entered so that was a bit of a relief. I ran a lot of practice laps and had a good line threw the chicane. Dropped the fuel and went out for a lap and lost it after the chicane, and hit the wall. With about 6 min left in Q i was able to get into the 36s, but had just enough time for one more and nailed a 35. Wow into #1 and my first (other than an inverted grid which gave me a pole) Paul was quick and got a jump into the lead for the fist lap. Heading into the chicane Paul had a bobble and i got threw to take it back and lead lap 2. Practice really helped and i was able to put a string of decent laps together and make some head way. I was starting to think about conserving the tires when i came up upon a couple of cars. I noticed Norm was the car ahead, so i knew i was safe when it came to overtaking, but that was not to be. As i approached the car i needed to overtake first ( during the quali session ADMIN kicked a driver ...not sure why ) i noticed this was that driver. He was a bit squirmy, so i approached with caution. As i went into the little uphill before the back straight, we touched and i new he was not gonna give , but i WAS past. My first thought was to flash and say thxs, but felt he really didnt deserve it, and i didnt want Norm up ahead to think i was getting all ancy to pass. Down the hill i went and as i started braking and preparing to turn in...... NO NO NO he isnt slowing.... please NO ! Sorry guys for the : omg! i know better. Always a great group here, Glad Mark got the win, good job buddy! Not gonna let one bad apple ruin it> thanks To admin Steve Taylor for those kind words and all you guys for the post quali comments..! Congrats all finishers and the podium,see ya at the final!

Ok I guess I will start with Jan,I was dicing with Steve I think when I saw the: omg! I thought wonder what happen,But had my hands full trying to overtake Steve lap after lap without crashing us both. I really stress on the thought of crashing someone but racing this good and fun is to good to let slip away. We go down the back straight and corner of my eye I see you! Oh Man, I felt so bad,Up the front straight I think maybe this lap I can nudge you to get you out of sand. Then I think...If He is stuck then wont I be??? Duuurrrr! Sometimes it took Me longer to learn in school,LOL. So I had heck of a race,Got hit in first three turns and the last one put me in wrong direction and last spot. Went as hard and fast as I could and had a Great time,Just dicing with 7th spot couple laps and kinda tapped his rear bumper in the chicane,No spin but knocked almost I think so let up till He regrouped and Get to racing again! Up front straight I said sorry without thinking right away. Didn't mean to Steve,Round the 1st turn and see...Connection lost! Haaaaa! My new ISP LET ME DOWN! It was end of day on Friday so I understand...He didn't put ISP address so it could renew itself,Oh well. Had a Great time and most important,FUN!
