UKFormula Atlantic nGT: Anderstorp

No idea what happend ... but in the lap after my stop when I was on the straight the whole game suddenly froze and there was nothing I could do to get it going again. Looked like the old 1 fps. Hope it didn't cause any problems for other drivers because it took me a while to close the damn game.

had to park it 25 minutes to go. was doing good, but a phone call interrupted my race. i picked up at the pit stop, and i have to go, so my car stayed in the pits from 4th (but would probably come away with 6th if i stayed)

Only disappointment for me was being shunted off in the first lap - from there I didn't really have a chance to actually race anyone other than the clock.

But for me it's getting the experience that counts.

EDIT: Well John I could say that it was the slipstream, I could say it was the new wheel and pedals I'm not used too, I could even blame it on the color of your car but the fact is it was just plain idiocy on my part.

LOL Barry, no need for that. I just figured you were in the slipstream & maybe missed your marker. I ended up somewhere behind the tire wall. :) Almost got to you at the end but was running low on fuel.

I WAS INVOLVED IN THAT MESS IN t1. I NOW I GOT THE WORST OF IT, AND DON'T KNOW WHERE IT STARTED, BUT IT PUT ME IN THE PIT ON LAP 2 FOR 90SECONDS. AFTER THAT THERE WAS NO HOPE TO PLACE WELL. I DIDN'T DO TOO WELL ANYWAYS. SHOULDN'T HAVE HAD THAT EXTRA DRINK TONIGHT, IT TOTALLY SCREWED UP MY ABILITY TO DRIVE CONSISTANTLY, LIKE THAT'S ALWAYS A CHALLENGE FOR ME ANYWAYS. I SEEM TO BE THE ONE THAT EVERYONE HAS TO WATCH OUT FOR LATELY ( CAUSE I'VE BEEN A LITTLE UNPREDICTABLE LATELY). ANYWAYS...SORRY IF I GOT IN ANY ONES WAY...BUT I WOULDN'T REMEMBER IF I DID IN THE MORNING ANYWAY. GREAT JOB ARI AND THE REST OF THE PODIUMS. HAPPY WITH 14TH AFTER BEING A LAP DOWN EARLY IN THE RACE. GOT WITHIN 1-2/2 MINUTEAS OF THE TOP 10, BUT THAT IS THE BEST I COULD HOPE FOR.

I had a very important call and i had to quit the race that was a shame because i had a very nice run with Ari. Damn Ari you were so fast in this Ferrari i was pushing to the limit and it was very interesting for me to see for how long my tires last because i was on soft and medium. Unfortunetly couldnt finished the race but i will try next time:)

spun off a few times /own mistakes and being nervouse about faster cars /tried to hold a line a few times but the edge of the track got me alot...

Clean race for me. Started in the back third so I had a clear view and made it through all that early mayhem. Just tried to minimise my offs and didn't try too hard to pass or defend - long race anyway.

I tapped a Ferrari lightly into one of the sweepers early, but thankfully he didn't spin. Other than that I had no contact. Unfortunately after the first three laps I had no one to race the entire race and if there is anywhere that I don't want to just lap, it's Anderstorp. Anyhow, it's all good practice.

Well done to Ari, you were flying and Nuno and Barry, you looked like you were reasonably close.

Got caught up in the T1 fracus and pushed in the nose and door and lost a few spots. From then on it was great racing in the middle of the pack for the first half of the race. Had a great duel with Bobby B and was up to 7th when I made a slight error and Bobby got inside and I lost a few spots. Second half was a little lonely, but had consistent laps trying to conserve the LF tire.

I'm still amazed at how competetive the racing is all the way through the field.
