A good quali laptime from the 360 .. was happy to be on 2nd row.
A bad start to race, car didnt get off the line at all well, lost a few places, into breaking for T1 Daniel Montour rear ended me and i left the track off onto the marbles on the left escape tarmac, was not that happy, on replay he just did not WAKE UP and brake, came back on way down the field, and got tangled with Gregg Mulgrew on the next turn( sorry dude ) i was on your right after you got into some trouble in T2 and gave you enough room to take the rumblestrip and you just didnt turn for T3 and unfortunatly your car was the one to get knocked off ..

then had an AWESOME race with John Meuller and the rest all batlling in 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th..

Came into pits while then in 2nd place, and for crying out loud all sound dissapeared when the fuel was going in, got nervous and thought game hung .. then the car started moving and i was not driving the car anymore... i was so confused i thought i had changed Car cam and was watching someone else race.. but no, i was the only red 360.. i was like OMG whats going on, and sat puzzled for 2 laps.. i was in 3rd now and really thought if i could be back in the seat i could keep it, pushed every button on my keyboard but couldnt get back into driver seat, had a brainstorm and came into pits, thought that would change it, but it carried on a ghost car .. retired as there was no point to carry on and went to single player to investigate.. seems i hit the driver button by mistake on the pitboard and it changed to AI (has never happened before, and ive never used that before ..thats deleted now) ... what a waste of such a good fight in that race.. was sure to get a podium.

Got a lucky pole in this one. Barry was at - 0,2 in his second to last qualilap but got into traffic. That pole saved me from getting into trouble in lap 1 and I was able to extend my lead a bit every lap. Then Agustin got into 2nd and was closing in on me. I was able to keep him behind me till the pitstop and that really made the difference. Gained 26 secs on him there and from that moment on it was trying not to fubar it and bring the car home. Decided to slow down the last laps in order not to tempt the Discogods in throwing me out again and I passed s/f 5 secs after the clock reached zero. Really pleased with this win after all the bad luck earlier this week in G3. Cya on track next time guys.

Nice Pole & win GP

A good race overall. I didn't know it but I was told I was on a pole pace but got into traffic and ended up 2nd on the grid.

The start was well...funked up. Can't say I was real happy with the way drivers were being "not so careful" on the opening lap. Got into racing and spent almost the whole race with team mates and rival team mates Dennis and Daniel and had a blast racing with them. The whole race we were scrapping for positions. At the half way mark I went into the pits with Dennis right behind me. I had a little trouble getting out of the pit box and had to back up to clear Augustin (sorry I bumped you).
Now the race was really on with Dennis and Daniel. they were pushing hard behind me for the whole second stint. Was real disappointed to see Les disco :-( with 10 or so laps to go. I watched in my mirror Dennis and Daniel battling it out as I found myself clipping off the gap a little at a time to Augustin but the race ended and finished in 3rd. Was real happy with the result after being sent back in the field, but had a lotofun getting there.

Practice: Respectable practice time with race fuel. Looking forward to race with comfortable setup.

Qualifying: Traffic, low fuel, too stupid to pit for more and ran out on track. Starting near back.

Race: Tagged on T1 L1 and now last. 3 spins, semi botched pit stop, and disco with only a few laps remaining while in 11th. Boy was that fun. Actually between my screw ups I began to like this track after an equally disastrous G2 race.

Time for old cliche..."that's racing".

it was ok. I signed up for the race with about an hour before it started. got to grips with the car and track, and I ran a 1:26.9 in practice, but I could only manage a 1:27.2 in quali.

I got a pretty good start, went from 8th to 3rd, but I kind of bumped the person in 3rd, so I took it easy on the throttle (for whatever reason), and dropped down to 5th. accidentally shifted down to first in the 6th corner, and the back wheels locked and I spun off track. I went down to 8th or something, then I started making up gobs of time, then I got a BS drive-thru penalty for "cutting the corner". before the race, we were told we could use the kerbs, and that the game would give us penalties, and I was using the kerbs. that was a load of crap. anyway, I dropped down to 13th, and started making up time again. got up to 9th, then had to pit. came in for fuel and tires halfway through the race, and dropped down to 13th again. started making up time and picking off people, and I remember then getting into 8th with 10 minutes to go, and I made up 22 seconds on him. that was a pretty nice feeling when I passed him. anyway, I feel I could have had a top 5 or maybe a podium finish, but that BS penalty screwed my race. oh, I also pulled a pretty nice drift in the 1st corner when catching up to 7th place. when turning in, my right rear wheel dropped off the track slightly, and I was entering the corner at a 60* angle or so. haha, that was pretty cool watching it. it's right towards the end if anyone is interested.

Joseph, i believe it was a penalty for ''cutting'' T1 . .not running wide.. The Stewards were letting the game penalise OUTside the white line, but INside was stewards decision.. Unfortunatly, while i was behind you, i noticed you cut T1 myself :( .. I am not a steward, but you wont guess what i was hoping for when i saw that :)

Frustrating one for me, but at least not as bad as the hopeless outing in G2 the other night. Managed to get into practice in time to get about ten minutes or so in, enough to grab the set I used at Valencia and lower the gearing some to suit. Wasn't quick, but at least the car was fairly well balanced on the way to a 7th place grid spot. Promised to be a fun race with 6-9 within a tenth on laptimes... ;-)

Decided to go full distance on one set of med/hard tires and take fuel only to save time in the pits. Probably should've taken tires, but as it turned out it didn't matter.

Got balked a bit on the start when Augustin had to go around Heinz and then got swarmed. T1 was pretty wild for a race with a lap 1 no-punt rule! Just tried to settle in after that and try to watch others for cues to where I could gain some speed. Was surprised that I was able to run fairly well, but was concerned about holding faster cars up at times. I pulled over on the front straight once to let Heinz by, but he seemed to be having some trouble holding onto the Ferrari and went off later allowing me back by into 6th. After that I chased back up to Daniel, Dennis and Barry who were dicing in 3rd-5th. We had a great train going for a while until Dennis got into Barry in T2 and I got by into 4th.

Tried to run Daniel down next and closed the gap some, but didn't have the pace to get there before he pitted. I ended up with the lead after the rest of the lead cars pitted about halfway. I planned to go as long as I could and short-fill with just enough to finish. Plan went OK (almost) as I came out in 2nd after my stop, but I somehow got a stop/go for speeding in the pits. The limiter was on and chugging before the line and stayed on until it went off automatically, so I don't know how that happened. If I was quick going in, it was by about one meter and one kph!

Needless to say I was annoyed, and I sort of lost my "drive" for a bit after I served my penalty. Tried to get my head back into pushing but the tires were pretty much gone by that point. When I saw Joseph coming late in the race, I figured he had fresher tires and didn't even attempt to hold the place. Would've just ended badly... ;-)

I see from other's pit and lap times that it looks like most took tires, so I'll have to try that strategy next time and see how it goes. Maybe run softer tires and pick up enough pace to make it work. Or not; my pit times generally suck anyway. Gotta figure that one out!
