I survived! Whew. I could have done a lot better, but at least I didn't run out of gas, like I did the other day :)

a 5am result for me .... pointless to even race!

Event steward joining during quali ruined my fast lap, was about to hit a nice second row time of 1m34.8 somthing abnd caused my game to freeze for a second .. yaaaay ..

Race started horribly, lost my car exiting first corner .. it was just catch up from there ... made it back to 8th .. and then had to do a splash and dash for fuel on second last lap to finish .. had a 31second window to do it, and hit enter prematurely and watched as pitcrew put 6 laps of fuel in :( .. lost my 8th place to Gregg Mulgrew :(

well done to podium .. i reckon my race could have been better had i got the quali lap i was going to get.

Well I was real slow again, but I had fun (I think it's nerves :)
I should do better Saturday in the GT, my Lambo instills confidence. I wish I understood why my car is so slow compared to you guys??? I noticed a red Ferrari come up behind me like he had 100HP on me. Some of the other Porsches blew by me and walked away like they had a HP advantage. Am I imagining this or is there some truth in what I say?
I hope I did good by you guys and didn't get in the way too much?

Not a very exciting race for me because I rarely saw other cars, until the top finishers lapped me towards the end. I made only a couple of mistakes but could still only manage a 10th place finish. I think I need to study the replay.

Well,i really enjoyed that.I had pace during practice,but just didn't put it together in qual.I thought i got a good start but Gregg and Chris went flying by and a couple of guys had some trouble in t1.Next lap i think,i thought i had outbraked myself when behind Chris but managed to hold it when i spotted Tommy coming down hard and we had a coming together.Tommy flashed me past,nice gesture Tommy but really nothing in it.Running 8th for a while,then up to 2nd when pitstops were being made.I had gone with a full tank at the start,took half a tank at the pitstop and was amazed when i came out just behind Kent and in front of Dennis.I didn't really contest when Dennis came up on me as eventually he would have got by and i was dropping back from Kent.

Luke .. you were not seeing things, the red ferrari was real and i was just a faster paced car charging from the back due to a first corner spin :) I was on a real mission so i got some satisfaction out of that :)
Just hang in there, keep doing the laps, soon you will find the speed of everyone else

That was a blast.....until my PC decided to lock up on me after pitting. Damn shame too. It was really shaping up to be a great race for me.

Two very rare things happened (almost) during that race. I was able to keep pressure on my brother the entire first stint. I used that to my advantage though because I ALWAYS overdrive my car here, and following Barry allowed me to stay in check. I looked at him as my regulator forcing me to NOT overdrive it. Thanks B. :-) He did bobble about 3-4 laps before pit cycles came around and I went around him taking the position and INSTANTLY started overdriving it. LoL 3 laps later the pits cycle began and this gave me the lead for 2 laps.

Got a really good entry into pit road with a quick fuel stop and Tommy Gunn came in about 5 seconds after me. When they finished I slammed it in gear and took off with the pitboard showing me in 3rd and WOULD have come out of pits IN FRONT OF KENT!!! (the other rarity) Hehe. I was 10 feet from pit exit and my PC decided to implode on me and all I could do was to hit my reset button.

Just my luck to have everything clicking for me and BOOM....I'm done.

I'll get you bastards someday dammit!! LoL

Great race guys! Grats to Kent and the podium.

After 15 minutes of driving a car I had 0 time in Kent was more than gracious to share his set-up, actually I think it was b/c I was going to leave if I couldn't be competitive and he wanted his stats padded :):):) now I know set-ups are very particular to 1 person, I just went with it non-adjusted, did 2 laps and it felt better, the qualy came, Got to P3, I was shocked, had a better lap going until a very inconsiderate driver insisted smoking for a full lap distracting me from a possible front row position, there is a rule for a smoking car, get the hell off the track.

Race, went well until lap 8, kent checked out and les, dennis and me were nose to tail and then the mighty lagged car in T6, never seen it until it was too late, I tagged it, really good, finally after I got myself righted I was sitting P8, sat there until my first pit stop on lap 26 as I enter pit road I have 0.4 liters in the tank :O I am P1, I knew if I took a gamble it could pay huge dividends, So it was gas only, as my stop is over P1 passes me by, but my car wont start :(:(:( there goes 2, 3, 4, 5 and I exit P6, by the end of my stint there was only cord left on the rims, Great race guys, and thanks again Kent for the help.

Wow I had a blast until the pitstop. Had a nice persuit right there behind the Hedrick brothers between 1 and 3 secs always close but never quite close to pass them (4th to 10th place we were all so close). Then came the pitstop and 2 laps later... OUT OF FUEL!!! had to pit again (forgot to put the fuel in the pit strategy oh my...) and I forgot to tell them not to change the tyres... another 45 secs waiting there... then I must admit the frustration got to me and I just pressed ESC... I'm sorry I almost never do this but it was just a fantastic fight for position all the way and then this to drop to last place... couldn't help it won't happen again though.
