Atlantic G2: Oschersleben

I received another brutal ass kickin from everyone on the track. Thats about all I have to say about that race.

Reaally srry to whoever i turned around in t1 midway thru the race,was it you Russ?I had a poor qual due to poor judgement?kept coming up on the same car even when i eased off to give enough gap for a flying lap,he would make a mistake and i would get caught behind agsin,lol.Started 17th,had two good pitstops and finished in 6th,i'll take it.

Oh,might have been Tom,really srry.If it's any consolation,you would be only the 2nd or 3rd person i have turned around in 168 events.

Well, I'm happy with my results. The first time I had ever seen this track was about 30 minutes before qualifying, so given my level of experience, I can't complain. Though my position doesn't show it, I feel I raced well. My goal was to be consistent, and I feel I accomplished my goal. It was great fun, as always, and congrats to James!

I really had fun with this race. I didnt quite bring it home in qualy but 2nd was a good result amongst some good racers. I beat scott off the line and i decide to push hard. I got the lead up to around 6 - 7 seconds on lap 15, so i decided to pit and replace all the tyres. I saw that Scott decided to stay out and go for 2 x 2 tyre strategy. Well I pushed again came in on lap 30 and exited just in the lead with scott only 1.3 seconds behind. After that I took it easier knowing that its near impossible to pass here, and my tyres were slightly fresher.

Have to say that the traffic was terrific and Scott's competitivness made it a really fun race. Congrats to him and George for good podiums.

Have to say it was a good race even though I did not place well. One incident, but not sure about it after looking at replay.

Poor pit strategy sent me scrambling for position on my second stint. Should not have taken fuel!

Third stint sucked overall. can't seem to geto out of people's way. Sorry

First race I ran in a while (since winter). Didn't go so well. For some reason the server was reset just seconds before the initial start. When I came back to the grid for the second start, I had no FFB on my G25. I might have gotten use to it as the race progressed, but I was off the pace on the first lap and didn't want to take anyone else out. So, I parked it and called it a day. Nice win James... only your second race at R2P?

My race was excellent for the first two stints and then pooped. I was having a great battle with Mark C on my first stint for 6th(?) place with Dennis and Les a couple of seconds ahead of me. I suspect that everyone around me had soft fronts as I was leaving Mark and gaining on Dennis and Les at the end of my stint with plenty of rubber left. I pitted with Les and we left at the same time with me behind him. We entered the track with Dennis between the two of us and a lapper. Dennis went by Les on hot tires and we drove like this until our next pit. I again went in with Les but this time I came out ahead by taking 2. I entered behind Dennis and the 3 of us continued our battle. 2 laps into my stint I hit the left side curbing at the back chicane and it threw me into the wall. I crawled back to the pits and had a nice long 100s pitstop. I lost 2 laps in the process and came out in 15th. I threw and decent finish away.

Good race, bit boring. I had some good close racing but nothing more except for a minor run in with Don H, not really sure if anyone was at fault but some how the infraction balanced itself out!
Oscherslaben seems to be the track that not to many mistakes are made and lap times are very close.
Thats all I can remember now zzzz
