another disco, another disaster on starting when maybe because of starting grid accidents FPS and connection went bad (warps everywhere).

Another thing (to someone in particular...no names): why someone doesn't respect rules......if server says "park it" just do it, the reason was because your car was a STOPPED GHOST in the middle of the track.
Additionally you didn't respect blue flags.
BTW another disconnection from server and my connection was fine, i'm just checking it.....too bad again.

PS why not automatic ban for bad pings? It could happen to everyone, but it could be something of benefit for everyone racing.

I second that Roberto. Warp at the start, crashed into about 5 other cars in the first lap by it. Continued with a damaged car, then there was a ghost stopped on the track, didn't know if the game would detect a collision, tried to avoid it and crashed. I'm sorry, don't want to be part of that. Screwed my ranking even more (what was left of it).

No idea what happened there guys. Nick Phillips was warping/ghosting so badly that my boot command on him did not work. It was obvious that he was not getting scored and could not see my chat to Park It either. Sadly, a few of you were still impacted by Nick's car. Not Nick's fault, and nothing I could do to prevent it.

And yes, people are removed from the server for having bad very bad warp.

Well all I can say is sorry but that was the game not me.

Having chatted with Tim the following is the situation.

Practice and Qual where fine.

First time I realised there was a problem was on the green light which, I did not see, only realised the race was off as everyone took off - I did not get the red count down or anything.

To me, everyone else was fine, in the first corner yes there was warp, but past that everything was stable to me.

Then I noticed I was not recording a lap time, this I realised could have made me look like I was 20th, when at the time I was around Roberto and coming up to Lokman, I was effectively 8th or 9th.

Speaking to Tim I was warping horrendously, ignoring effectively blue flags, that again I did not see, and after he tried to boot me, which I did not get any message about, it was in the lap of the gods as and when I would finally disco. I realised a few people might get pissed off by me racing them when I seemed laps down, but was prepared to carry on and claim my rightful position without having any idea of the havoc being caused.

Obviously this has affected several peoples races, and especially I feel sorry for Mo who I have known for some time and appreciate is having a tough time atm.

But as I say the game let me down in yet another strange and new way.

Apologies and if it ever happens again obviously I will park it a lot quicker, but never had it before and as I say everyone else was rock solid to me so did not appreciate the issues I was causing.

I luuurve this track. Elise was great - although a pitstop to repair missing aero and other bits and pieces sort of fooked up my race. Not to mention getting hundred litres of gas for free. Couldn't adjust pit board not to add fuel.

The start was awfull and after that I couldn't drive flatout because Nick was appearing about every ten seconds in front of me for two laps. I know this is "mechanical" but it sure didn't help. Neither was me being punted out by Roberto which got me stuck on the curbs droping me down from 13th to 18th. A sorry in your report would have been nice Roberto but I understand your disco is more on your mind. Got 10th in the end which could be called a damagecontrolled result. I'll set the alarm to 04:45 to get a rematch. :-)

Not your fault Nick, I've been there with GTR and it sux. For me lights went green and FPS went into a crawl, I managed to get it round most of the turn 1 then decided safest route was across the grass and park it. As I was about to hit escape the clock stopped jumping, I hit the accelorator and I was in business, all be it some 30 secs down on the next car! Had a good race from there, viper handled great and I managed to get to 8th. Even with a tyre warning on lap 26 the car still felt good. Grats to podiums. Apologies if I hit anyone in T1 but there was absolutely nothing I could do cept get off the track.

Went good, although 32.5 was possible, don't think I could've done 1:32.2

Race:
Race result was a surprise to me, I thought Roman will pull of at alarming pace, but instead he was sliding a lot and around lap 3 or 4 he made a mistake out of T1 and I overtook him.

From that point on my lead kept increasing and by lap 18 it was something like 7 or 8 seconds. Then, at lap 18, Roman had some problems and my lead increased to 21 seconds. From that point on I took extra care, lifted off. I was caculating to loose 1 second a lap, that would still left me with some 8-10 seconds cushion across the finish line. But to my surprise, once more, gap remained the same.

Congrats podium guys and finishers.

Well, as a new guy to all this, this was my first finish ( although I was 4 laps behind the leaders). Towards the end of the race I starting doing 1.38's which I was fairly happy with as I dont really know this track, but have a long wat to go before I catch you guys. It's good to race on a server where you dont just get smashed out the way by everyone, so thanks.
