Oh I hate myself!!!

Another jumped start, no thanks to Conor for jinxing me... gawd!

Otherwise, the car was hooked up! ran an 11.7 early in the race and followed it up with a 12.0 with only a few laps remaining. Wish I was up front though... coulda won pretty easily I think.

Well that was an unexpected TREAT, never driven this track in that configuartion. Found my CUP GP set a little off and my lap times was 3-4th in practice. Then TREAT! I qual 2nd then another big TREAT Tim jumps the start and I get the lead at pit in. After 2 laps watching Conor taking chunks out of my lead I get another TREAT and he slide into the grass at T1. Now I have a 2.5 second lead and it is even for the most part, then another TREAT, I look up to see I have 11 seconds.

Well didn't pull the hat TRICK but I got the TREAT!

great racing all, I think it is safe to say, at this point anyway, that P Cup will be closer than what we have seen in the past.

Before qual started, I hadn't done a lap here with this car. Pretty easy to learn though, apart from T1 braking. My poor qual was compensated by a nice start, then a pass on Cory after spending two laps looking for the opportunity. Once Conor spun, I had p2 and kept it until the end.

I was expecting that car movements wouldn't be quite so smooth since there's an ocean and stuff between me and the server but no problems at all. Which was good because you need to race very close with these cars to be able to pass.

lol fun race guys. I really like the handling on these cars for some reason and for some reason they provide a lot of good racing.....wasn't expecting that :).

All the usually suspects were fast here; Tim and Kent....they were the ones to beat and I knew Ari would climb himself up there too because....well he's always fast :). I managed to start 3rd with an okay time but of course, Tim and Kent got the front row.

So as we sat on the grid ready for the lights to go green, i decided to be an ass and told Tim on Ventrillo not to false start because i knew he does it a lot in rFactor, and low and behold he false starts. I proceeded to laugh my ass off because i wasn't expecting that actually :P. I was probably chuckling about that for quite a few laps while chasing Kent and unfortunately i started making mistakes while i was reeling him in....mainly going a little bit too hard into turn 1. I fell a couple seconds to him but spun out a couple laps later in the first chicane which dropped me into the bulk of the field......karma's a bitch i guess :D.

I wasn't too pissed about that because fighting through the field was very fun. All of us were bumping and banging and shoving each other around. I finally got through the mess and started chasing Ari down but i couldn't quite get to him and ended up where i started....3rd. Not too bad at all :). Fun race guys! Looks like the Pee Cup is a keeper :P. Oh yea....sorry about your false start Tim........*snickers*

Not much to report. Got about 5 laps of practice, but thanks to Tim's setup, I came to grips with the track and car pretty quickly. Didn't qualify well, but I hung out behind that mid-pack of cars as they all made mistakes or took each other out. Eventually found myself in third and closing on second when I reintroduced myself to that confounded gravel trap about three laps in a row. Just put a wheel off, but it's obviously enough to blow your lap big-time. By the time I got my head on straight, I was too far back to make up any positions. At any rate, I actually enjoyed running a Porsche for perhaps the first time ever.

Sorry I didn't hang around for the race, y'all. I only at the last minute decided to race and (like many of you) had no seat time in these cars or on this track. And with the thought in my head that I really needed to be working on replacing a motor mount on the real car, I just couldn't concentrate. So in qual, I decided to opt out and go back into the garage where I should've been in the first place.

I'll try another race with these cars, though. I think they've got potential to be fun, but they just weren't agreeing with me yesterday.

Fun race,

Had no time to practice and took me a while to get comfortable with the braking mark for T1. Start was not good as when the lights went green, a car appear in front of me that was not visible for the whole wait. The car react very slow and I lost a place, fortunately I gain one at T1. I had a very good fight with don't remember who until I went over the kerb and lost the car. Slowly I was gaining positions. With two laps left my pedal case slided and almost hit Dean, I could dodge him and went straight to the barrier, no engine, race over. Talking about some real brake fade >oP

These cars are fun to drive, very tricky to be fast with them. Have to say on the replay the cars and track looks absolutely gorgeous.

Oh yeah! Great race guys. That was so much fun battling around with everyone the whole race! Pretty sure that there was not an un-scraped part of bodywork left on my car at the end! Must have changed positions about 10 times. Truly awesome!

I only signed up last minute because my "other" plans shrivelled up. hehe. But boy, am I glad I did. These babies are a lot better than rfactors'. Without any practice here at all either, I was shocked to see I was almost quick enough right out of the trailer(almost!). What a weird layout that sand-trap corner is huh? Really not use to that one. By the looks of it, you guys weren't either!

I vote that p-cup should be these cars, and those rfactors pigs can be thrown in the skip! Just don't think I could climb into one of them anymore. Not after that!
