Disco after halfway. My connection hates Europeans servers, I guess. Had lag all the way through and I finally get the ax when my car started feeling good. BS

Good Race congrats both winners and podium finishers.

I almost could not race...once the server was full I started getting huge FPS hits(down to 5-8 fps!) like lag spikes 4-5 times a lap. So I quit and set all video settings to low(they were medium) and turn off shadows...rejoin and I get 5-8 fps constantly now!! So I quit the game altogether, copied my setup into, and loaded my original rfactor installation. Then the game worked fine.

Thanks Tim for letting the GTR-1 non-qualifiers go to the back of the pack.

OK race for me, started off quick, because I could follow close, and gained a few spots due to the crashing. Then slowed down over the course of the race when I was alone. The top 3 had an incredible pace! I could only manage a 56-57 pace in my own practice and today was doing 59-00, very slow. Thanks for the cooperation during passing/lapping and sorry if I caused any trouble.

Well, my racing come back was mixed.

In alone practice before race I manage 1'52.5 with race setup.
These cars are blast to drive, but night driving isn't help me to full enjoy because I had frames about 17-25 fps whole race.
Slide show is especially big when I catching someone for lap and he use lights, I use it only to signalize myself :).
At the start I take 2nd. place from Nuno, and then followed by him I decide to let him go just to help my frames, After that whole race was battling with seconds and frames :(.
Honestly very bored, and difficult to my eyes.

3rd. at the end is ok, and congrats to Scott and Nuno really great speed, and podium guys from GT2 class also.

Shame I will not race in Monza next race, because I need some GTR2 action, too :)

Qual:
As I came back from the fridge and bathroom Qual had already started, oops time's a wastin'. Got a clean flying lap in, .5 sec off my pb. Messed up the second so I backed off as I got in traffic, save up for one more flyer. Came around the final hairpin, crossed the line, and got the checker! Crap!! So much for pole and track record.
But wait! Conor must have hit traffic too, I got it by .004.
This is gonna be good.

Race:
I led the first 40% of the race, nose-to-tail, Conor's having some lag problems so he's probably waiting for it to clear up so we don't take each other out. More likely he's waiting me out, biding time until I screw up.
Of course I did, got on the gas too early in T1 with a monster powerslide, he passes me for position. Now it's my turn to chase nose-to-tail.
We both dive into the pits same lap at halfway, he slows WAAYYY down and I pass him at pit entrance? After the stops I have like a 5 sec gap, I know he will chew that away.
Then he disco's before the hour mark.

I toodled around 4 seconds off the pace for the last 35 minutes.

I really would like to have seen if I could run with the man full race distance. Not a fair win for me.

Sure would like to have seen the GTR1 race, how in the hell did Scott get that big a lead on Nuno???

Qual was reletively easy, did lots of 51s and got pole by 0.9.
In the race I only really saw anyone for the first 3 corners where Nuno's headlights were annoying me, then I pretty much just drove away... unlucky about the frame rates Milan, and I guess Nuno was just off form today.

4th again. Enough to move CT Racing into a tie for 2nd place in team standings. I didn't expect to do well. As the race started, I was being very conservative. Not to mention, the GTR-1 on cold tires is pretty difficult to turn. During lap 1, Allen lost it, and I had no where to go but right into him (sorry Allen). Dealt with front damage the whole event. But, I also made NO mistakes, probably my 1st race ever that I didn't have my own "off", or worse. I would normally say it was "prety boring" after that, but the darkness keeps you on your toes, so it wasn't very boring to me. Grats to Scott and Tommy, and to Tom Rue for a 7th place finish in a car that he gave up on months ago.

No way u need to apologise Bob, I lost the back end out of turn 4 and just couldnt get the car to go straight, if u had missed me it would have been a miracle as I really was all over the place, sorry m8. Well Bobs hit took out my rear end pretty good, and it was a real task to get it back to pits. By the time I got back I was 1 lap. Was good fun battling back through the field and quite funny at times to see guys I was racing for position just pull over n let me by as I unlapped myself. Bob was a bit smarter and I figure if he had'nt made it hard for me to pass him I would of had his spot at the end. Gotta be pleased with 5th when I was almost out on lap 1. Grats to podiums.
