I had a reasonable qualifying and managed to get to 2nd at the start.
Had a great race with Matt for a couple of laps before he pulled away.
Eventually Zak caught and passed me, and it stayed like that until the final lap.

Zak pitted for fuel and Matt slowed dramatically. I caught Matt and crossed the line just 0.2 secs behind at the flag having fuel saved myself too on the final lap. Ran out of fuel as I crossed the line.

So close to a win!!!

Sorry for not unregistering. Got caught with people site seeing a car accidents. Damn tourist!

What a race....! From 24th to 14 in the first corner. START OF THE YEAR. Unfortunaly, My sterring wheel diedand I raced from keyboard. In the Eau Roege corner with the keyboard, was easy to lose the car and I was helped to go out of the track. After one more crash I struggled to go to the pit to repair. 86 sec I spent on pit. I had the posibility to finish in top10. With the 225 km/h top speed in the straight line, I played with some drivers. With Mario Morais was something special to fight. I hope I will be able to compete in the future with all great drivers from this championship.

Ran out of fuel on the second to last lap!! Still had alraedy lost a lot of places early on the first few laps of bumping and boring. Car damage is not very accurate as there should have been front wings flying of all over the place.

Still a good fun race on a great track.

I've just about realised that a good qualifying position is a massive advantage in these cars as it puts you ahead of the usual rough & tumble of the 1st lap/1st turn Crashfest.

I knew that fuel was going to be marginal and was just hoping that I could maintain a reasonable pace, stay out of trouble and get to the end without a stop. That didn't allow for Tony CC pushing me hard for most of the race and I had to work hard at keeping it clean and not using the redline every gear change.

We both pulled away from the chasing pack, but were being dropped by the leading three (as expected). I was half expecting one or more of them to stop for a splash/dash, so was surprised when only Zak took the stop at the start of the last lap. Matt & Bradley must have some pretty good lean-burn technology on their cars to run the pace they did. You should market it guys!

I was lucky to pass Zak in the pits and get a few seconds advantage which he couldn't make up over 1 lap, so 3rd place came my way very nicely. I was really sorry to see TCC stop on the last lap after our close racing, but it also happened to some others I think which goes to show that strategy also has its place in planning your race.
