Woooo- Happy to get my first win like this, with a good battle and then just pull away.

Congrats to both podiums, it was one tough race.

Finally, my first Main win! :)
Decided to try the whole race on one set of tires. The LF was gone by lap 17, but the RF hung on until lap 20.
Had one anxious moment when I managed to loop it in turn 2(?) on lap 20, but had enough lead time to get going again & tip-toe around until the finish.

Congtrats to Ryan and Jim... both with first Main Division victories.

My race was flawed from the start... I gave my setup to Ryan! Then I had too little wing on in qual to lose a possible pole. Race was going great early on until I dipped a tire under braking. Tore the rear wing off and drove around the rest of the race that way. Took a few laps to get use to it (and a few spins) but was lucky enough to claw back up into 2nd after a fantastic race with Kevin.

First time racing these things. I practiced all week with the wrong track and the wrong setup. I tweaked the setup from the previous track (Brands Hatch 2.0) and did my best to lower the times. No where near Tim or Ryan though. I expected to finish last in the class. Great last few laps of racing with Tim. One mistake ended the dogfight though. I had to fight to get out of the sand and finish the race. Congrats to Ryan and Jim

After qualifying third, I experienced a first for me here at R2P: starting from the pitlane, after a minor household emergency caused me to miss the call to the grid. Let me tell you how agonizing it is to sit there waiting to be let out of the pits while the rest of the field streams away at the start.

I had fun races with James and Pete while working my way up the field, and I have to think that there were some big offs by many of the cars in ZR, as I was astonished to find myself finishing in second, only 4 seconds behind the ZR winner, after starting from the pitlane.

Congrats to iDT teammate Ryan on the H6 win, and to Jim for the ZR win. This was a fun race for me; I can't believe that I hadn't discovered this series before now.

Well, I must have thought I wasn't slow enough already. lol.
Right after the start I got a drive-through penalty for "false start". I'm like "huh??" What I didn't realize was that my start spot was on a bit of a slope, and my car was slowly rolling the whole time the start lights were counting down! At least Gary's problem gave me someone to race with for a few laps. Until he got by me and dissapeared into the distance. Again, congrats to the podiums, and to my old racing buddy Jim on his first main series win! My first race in the ZRs, so I was pretty happy just to finish without making too much of a fool of myself :)

Learned about the 4wdrive upgrade option (is that published?) near end of a short practice so I was not real familiar with cars potential up to race time. Nice handling H6 (thanks Tim for both the above, saved my butt!), did make the first few laps quite fun as I kept up with Tim and Ryan up front. Did not last nearly long enough, dropped a wheel off under braking for last turn and curtains for my run up front. Horrible gravel traps, took 4Ever to get out and surprised my engine didnt grenade. Pitted and had a decent car again and found myself a lap down in the ZR battlers and worked thru them AOK :~). Tim, we then had some H6 dicing and I sure tried to keep up with ya for 10+ laps which kept it interesting. Exited for a family outing, glad I had my racing fix this wknd. I guess someone has to be last, I'm not so used to it but still fun
