Intro to PLMS (USA)

Real eyeopener.

Conor, you have lead correct second half of race and have deservedly won! Excellent work!!!
I don`t understand as i has reduced 20 seconds of backlog from you :)

Sorry I had to DNF - unexpected family business just as qualifying started, then more stuff to deal with after the race started so I had to quit.

I ended up spectating the last half of the race. Nice to see there were 2 pairs of guys fighting for first place in each division. Congrats to all who endured the whole race.

Although I was slow, I had fun out there, great race all.

COngrats Podiums. Good Race some good racing around me. But I was too inconsistent and spun way to many times to have a great battle. Thanks GT2 cars for giving way. Some of these passes went very smooth, some I got impatient or too lax and some the GT2 car was very forgiving and suprised me by slowing in a certain spot. I don't think I caused any drive throughs, so no problems. Sorry if I did.

Good Race! The season will be a challenge in this car, but alot of fun!

First, the cars are a blast to drive. Difficult but very rewarding. I felt like I was getting the hang of it in practice, lapping decently. Then in qualy I messed everything up, AND I discovered that I had to race with the same compound: panic! What to do? So I went with softs, BIG mistake, at least for me. After 10 laps they were shot, the car virtually undrivable. All my long-stint practices had been with mediums: why I changed is beyond me. I had no choice but to do 2 stops, but I think that was also a mistake.
Race started well, I had a super battle with Dennis, clean side by side for what felt an eternity. I really hope-- I have not watched the replay-- that I did not contribute to his spin. Whichever way I was very sorry to see him drop off, and if we touched I am deeply sorry.
It was shortly after that that I realized my tires were done for-- made some embarassing mistakes underbraking for T1-- pitted, overheated made utter chaos out of my first stop. Second stint was better in consistency. Then in the third stint after about 7 or 8 laps I realize I am marginal on fuel. The last three laps I slowed down to a crawl, although taking the corners in a higher gear were messing me up. Then, ladies and gentleman, I managed to run out of fuel on the last lap, out of the last turn! A learning experience. Despite my frustration, I love this car and I can't wait till the next one. Thank you everyone for a good race.

Realy not sorry that i had to wake up after 2hrs of sleep for this one... What a nice race. Too bad the grid was not as big as it was stated before the race...

I saw that here, i was gonna have a lot more trouble then in EURO funrun. Kirill made a fantastic lap, and i was very lucky to get 2nd in qual.

I knew it would be hard to hold to that possition in race. And i was right. Conor and Kirill were to fast for me, and Conor didnt know what a mistake... I still had same problems as in Euro race and i spinned around 5 times, loosing it all against Conor and Kirill. What a Gentlemen move there Conor to wait for me since i moved away from the GTR-1 a bit too much into sand ;).

Grats to You and Kirill for great race and grats to GTR-1 podium.

So far That was the most fun I had here at Race2Play.Me and Jonathon battled pretty much the whole way with neither of us able to gap the other guy.

Traffic was tough allthough all the GT2 guys and a few GTR1 guys did what they were suppposed to do which was hold their line,but still,when you see a guy flash his lights saying go ahead, but he"s on the preferred line and your not,and he still brakes as late as he always does, it makes it pretty risky.

What was really strange was my car started overheating about 15 laps into the race so I thought for sure my car was going to expire.I started short shifting and staying out of the draft and that seemed to help.

I had a 38 second pitstop for some reason, and I kept reving the motor thinking theres something wrong, why can"t I get my car to go and then I noticed it still hadn"t finished putting in the 30 laps of fuel.By reving the motor while sitting in the pits that really made my car overheat even worse, and once I got on the track it was now smoking.Somehow by trying to baby it the motor cooled back down.

Anyways great racing with you Jonathon, I know you got a drive through but with my extended pitstop it shows you only lost 1 second. so all in all a pretty even race,neither one of us could really dominate the other.

Janko, Kirill.....hell of a race guys! Was a blast to run with both of you :).

The race was extremely fun and very tiring on my part. Janko and Kirill were the ones that were battling hard for much of the 1st half and I just took advantage of their spins and mishaps. I even gave up the lead to Janko after one of the GTR1s pushed him off. There was no fault of his own from that incident and since this was a fun run, I just let him have it back in exchange for closing up right on his bumper ;). A few laps later, he did have a mistake in one of the hairpins and I just swooped under him and took the lead away again. From there on, I never gave the lead up, except for pitstops.

The last half of the race had Kirill charging to catch up to me. He made up like 10 secs in 10 laps which was really impressive. He finally came up within 1 sec of me but we didn't really get any closer due to traffic and the GTR1s breaking us up. With two laps to go, however, he made one last charge to close up onto my bumper but he spun out in the final corner :(. If he hadn't done that, the finish would have been REALLY exciting :). I finally came home with the win safe and sound.

Once again, great racing guys. It was real fun racing with some of the fastest in R2P :). And a shout out to everybody else....it looked like a clean race for the most part :).

Hey Scott A! I was spectating the race and at one point on the main straight your vehicle was spewing out a massive trail of white smoke. I thought you had overheated your engine. Once you started braking it went away. If I recall correctly it was during the last 15 minutes of the race. Too bad you can't adjust the radiator opening on these cars.
